The next release on Reptile Dysfunction is a bit of a special one as Doorly is joined in collaboration by the unstoppable, inimitable one-man party machine and happy Mondays front man – Bez

The pair share a mutual love of Acid house and during some time spent together in Doorly’s studio in Ibiza they decided to make some music together and THE FLYING BUS was born!

A homage to the early acid house movement with the vocals performed by Bez himself, (his first ever vocal feature on a record), describing the magic of his long running legendary Flying bus party at Glastonbury, long known as a wonderful last chance saloon where the most hardcore of the late-night warriors will congregate to keep the party rolling and try to keep up with Bez!

The track will be released on limited edition fluro yellow and clear splatter Vinyl as well as Digitally on July 30th backed up with remixes from the man who created acid house in chicago when using a little known at the time synthesizer called the Roland 303, now a cult classic – DJ PIERRE and also a killer remix from the UK’s bass superhero Zed Bias. In keeping with Reptile Dysfunction always thinking of the DJ, the vinyl will also feature 3 x locked grooves for DJ’s to have their own infinite loops from parts of the track to be able to play out on Vinyl.

You can also catch Bez & Doorly on the road this summer for a very special limited run of shows playing a B2B Acid House experience set celebrating the influence the sound has made to their lives and careers.

The Back to back DJ set takes inspiration from the early acid house movement from both sides of the Atlantic with gritty raw chicago sounds meeting via psychedelic transportation with the tracks that made the Hacienda dancefloor so special. Plus with Bez hosting and participating with the crowd you can also expect a good dose of that happy, unpredictably wonderful energy that only Bez can provide, something that every dance floor needs right now!

Next up on Reptile Dysfunction we introduce the debut EP from a brand new artist that we’re really excited about here at RD HQ with several absolutely killer club releases lined up for 2022. Introducing Talgia! Born in the 80’s, Raised in the 90’s you can quite clearly hear that definitive old school influence in his sound with his own personal twist and superbly crisp production that makes it really stand out.

The Talgia sound takes us back to those hazy northern uk clubbing days in the 90s where sonic elements from hardcore and rave met house music tempos. His tracks sound nostalgic but fresh and on point at the same time making everything he does feel timeless.

His entrance EP “Talgia 001” comprises of 2 tracks. “Gotta have ya” and “Push”. When we first got the demo for “gotta have ya” we immediately thought that it could go to another level with the right vocal, so who better to assist here than one of the most important vocalists of that northern 90’s club scene, The incredible Rowetta, and she really delivered here, what a pleasure to have her on the label as well.

Track 2 Takes a more underground route with Push which we think will be a bit of a DJ’s secret weapon.

As we Begin a fresh new year we thought it was a great opportunity to share some of the fresh talent that we’ve been working with behind the scenes at Reptile Dysfunction with our 2022 Incubator EP.

Our dedication to and enjoyment in helping new artists break through is the whole reason Reptile Dysfunction was born in the first place so it’s really great to be able to showcase some of the newest members of our label family in one place, all showing promise of very bright futures in music.

USA House heavyweights Gettoblaster team up once again with prominent tastemaker, Devon James to deliver a powerful 2-track EP for their debut release on Reptile Dysfunction.

Both Gettoblaster and James draw heavily on their Chicago influence with title track “To The Beat” - a peak time acid house scorcher that is sure to stir up some serious trouble on the dance floor this summer.

The B-side, “You Better” is a weirdly wonderful track that features the vocals of Missy, whose last hit with Gettoblaster is still riding high in the charts. This chunky yet quirky track makes you feel like you’ve been dropped right smack dab in the middle of the Wonka Chocolate Factory with all the oompa loompas dancing round and sipping on some of their mysterious potions.

UK Acid House rising talents Atari Safari deliver their debut release on Reptile Dysfunction in the form of the aptly named ‘Freak Out’.

This two-track release melts the boundaries between Classic House vibes and Acid House wonkiness that seamlessly combine to add yet another solid release to the Atari Safari boy’s repertoire.

Starting the Reptile Dysfunction New Year in style with a brand-new Club ready release as we welcome Hudd Traxx head honcho Eddie Leader to the family with his raw energy House release ‘Universal Flow’.

Eddie, is an artist that our own label head Doorly has been a long time fan of as well as his globally respected record label Hudd Traxx which has just celebrated its 15th Anniversary and is home to releases from DJ Sneak, Jovonn, MR G, Chez Damier, Hector Morales & Stacy Kidd.

We were delighted to be able to sign these tracks as they’re both absolute club heaters. Eddie delivers with absolute class on this one with a real Chicago vibe, warm and bouncy and something that all you heads out there are going to really enjoy!

This EP takes us immediately to a blissful summer state of mind with its funky basslines, shimmering synths, and soulful vocals, showcasing Caro Tyle's mastery in particular with the awe-inspiring track “Only One” featuring Arkine. Now becoming a regular feature on Reptile Dysfunction we see the return of Mike Woods with his ‘Lockdown EP’.

Hot off the heels of his release "I’m In Love" a co-released on RD & AMF records in the USA which got support from DJ’s such as (Solomun, Fatboy Slim, Destructo, Boris Dlugosch and Bill Brewster to name a few). Mike is somebody who inspired label boss Doorly at the start of his career 2 decades ago and continues to blow us away with his encyclopaedic knowledge of House and Disco as well as his prolific output as a producer.

This Ep continues to show mike's depth as he's been killing it with Disco orientated edits so far on the label and his rave inspired "Turn it Up" from our Miami Compilation. This time around Mike turns his talents to Italo, Acid and Deep house flavours.
