UK boy, Asian roots. England-born, Singapore-based rapper spitting hot rhymes over grime and hip hop beats.

Born and bred in Singapore, Sheeq Luna has been a mainstay in Singapore’s underground music scene for a number of years. She has performed across various venues in Singapore such as The Esplanade’s Theatre by the Bay, even performing for Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. 

After she picked up singing from a young age, she began to upload covers on Youtube. Developing her skills as a singer and songwriter, she has always used music as her “verbal diary”. Sheeq Luna has collaborated with artists such as Shigga Shay, Shorya Sharma, REQ and Sheikh Haikel; and has even performed in the Philippines in front of an audience boasting over 30,000 guests.

Drawing inspiration from the likes of Beyoncé and Mary J Blige, she is a singer with a strong voice and a rebellious side which have drawn comparisons between her and global superstar Rihanna. She has managed to juggle her love for making music with her other passion, caring for animals, where she still works as an Animal Keeper in Singapore’s Night Safari. 

With a fresh sound and a unique perspective on life, 2017 is a year which big things are expected from Sheeq Luna, starting with her debut single ‘Guts & Glory’.
