BEFORE USING THIS GUIDED MEDITATION, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING:

After following these guided meditation instructions to the letter a few times, I do encourage you to do this meditation guiding yourself without the use of this audio.
 
The purpose of meditation is to come to stillness of body & mind & in doing so to connect to a state of nothingness through focus & concentration. By pausing thought you come into direct contact with the Creative Intelligence of the Universe, the Absolute. Thoughts are usually about the problems of yesterday & the possible solutions of tomorrow & are a distraction from the moment, the place & time in which we really are. Meditation brings you into the moment, helping us to overcome the transient & to rest in the Absolute.
 
Meditation is best done within the 1st hour of waking up to start your day & again in the 1st hour or so after finishing a day's work before you relax, whatever hours you may keep.

This Mindfulness Meditation technique that you will now learn to do is very powerful and best for us in the western world as it brings us into touch with our 5 senses. When this happens we feel, taste, smell, see & hear much better as we're more focused & in the moment rather than being absorbed by distracting thoughts, which means we can complete our work in half the time as we're more tuned in to our senses.
 
With this meditation, we therefore start by bringing the body to stillness. The mind will not come to complete stillness if the body is un-still. Once the body is still we bring the mind to stillness. This we do by concentrating first on our weakest sense and then progress though the senses to our strongest sense. This way we become truly connected to our senses.
 
Before we do that, we need to relax & get our bodies into the correct position. 
So, firstly, sit upright on a comfortable chair with your feet resting on the floor or, cross-legged on a cushion. Do not lean against the back of the chair; let your body support itself.
Your back must be upright, dead straight, aligning our Chakra points which will then give us a better connection to the Absolute. Imagine your spine being connected by a piece of string with the string going from the bottom vertebrae right up the spine & out of the top of your head. Imagine pulling the string from above your head to straighten your whole back & make your back as straight as possible. Your Chakras will then be completely in line.
 
Next, hold down your index fingers with your thumbs. This is to hold down ego as ego comes through this finger.
The other 3 fingers should be straight. These 3 fingers represent the 3 Guna, Tamas (rest / ignorance), Ragas (movement) & Sattva (Truth) that are the 3 energy sources that make up the Human Spirit. Holding these fingers outward is offering the Guna back to the Universe from where it came.
With your hands in this position, rest them, palms up, on your knees.
 
Now roll your shoulders from forwards to backwards in a slow movement opening up your chest & Ethereal heart.
 
Then bring your attention to your ethereal heart in the centre of your chest & instruct it to get warm. Then instruct it to get warmer still & melting away the frostiness of the day.
Observe the energy that is life permeating your whole body. Be aware of the Self as the Observer of this energy being aware that we cannot be that which we can observe!

Once you finish the meditation thank the Universe for allowing you connect as all of the information herein, is Universal information & belongs to no one.

Enjoy this mediation, that will improve your spiritual, mental & physical health, as this will de-stress you completely & in the presence of no stress, you immune system will become much stronger, making you physically more healthy.

Throw your weird ass tassled hats into the air, it's graduation time! 

Voltron's "Sophomore EP" is not only the follow-up to last year's "Freshman EP", but a documentation of their continued blossoming evolution into... hybrid dancefloor savants? The nightclub equivalent of a grad student? A thesis on 'Neoclassical Assumptions in Contemporary Prescriptive Slang' jammed into an mp3? Whatever you want to call it, it's full of huge contributions from Bambounou, Gremino, Jean Nipon and Brownz as well as two original productions from the promising young academics themselves.

"Play It" mutates Dead Prez's gravelly turn-of-phrase about real hip hop into an anthemic warble, wrapping it around reverberating intensity, interlaced synths sending messages back and forth to each other. Relax, you'll know it when you play it.

Meanwhile, on remix duties, Bambounou's interpretation of "Play It" sounds like someone
constructed a car alarm made entirely of tropical birds, stripping off the glossy sheen of Voltron's synthesizers and banging out a version that sounds like it was simultaneously constructed on seventeen different models of antiquated drum machines.

At first you might think that the unique hook of Brownz remix of "Play It" is the "someone-ripping-a-thousand-rolls-of-packing-tape" bass rumble that kicks in early on in the track, but you're fooling yourself. Instead, it's the nervousness-inducing orchestral rumble that starts scaling upwards in the background of the track, slowly
crawling to the front of the track sounding somewhat like a dancefloor-adaption of the most gut-wrenching thriller movie you've watched.

We're hugely excited to have recent Fade To Mind jacking legend Gremino in the house on this release, and in his hands "Play It" jumps and somersaults around the club like a cirque-du-soleil performer who ingested bath salts and is now looking to gnaw on some face.

The vocals in "Desire" are like the exhausted but ecstatic sighs of a teenage raver in the early hours of a forest rave somewhere in Reykjavik, paired with swirling synths spiralling and oscillating pensively around it, letting the track breathe. When it all gets washed over with a hauntingly spontaneous piano elegy in the middle of the track that's guaranteed to have everybody's hearts seized up in their throats.

Esteemed Institubes lecturer Jean Nipon drops some immense knowledge on his remix of "Desire". Dark swirling arpeggios, filter sweeps that make you feel like you're teetering on the edge of a mountain, and a knack for that distinctively French "thwump" that Nipon brings to each of his productions. A standout track.

BIOGRAPHY
Requake is a dubstep duo (Sebastien & Adrien) from Brussels, Belgium. They have been good friends since their early teens, and started DJing at the age of 16. Couple of months later they started producing under the name 'Requake'.
They've got releases on labels such as Subway Recordings, Dub Police, Dubstar, Bassclash, Broken Music, Tsunami. Their tracks have been supported by some of the bigger names in the scene; N-Type, Coki, Hatcha, Mistajam, Jakwob, J:Kenzo, FuntCase, Cookie Monsta, MRK1, Lost, Eddie K and many more... You can expect a variety of different kind of 'dubstep-styles' (dark, deep, wobbly and uptempo business) that will make you move!
