Sharlese Metcalf is a longtime DJ and promoter in Seattle. Known for her knowledge in EBM, various synth and wave genres, post-punk and industrial, she hosts live music shows as False Prophet, featuring synth and wave acts and a monthly dance party called Audiodrome. She is a resident of techno crews Depth Seattle and CLANG. 

Sharlese has been DJing EBM and Techno  for over a decade now with a combination of spinning in clubs and can be heard on KEXP 90.3 FM in Seattle where she hosts two radio shows, Mechanical Breakdown, every Monday morning from 1-2am and as a rotating host on Expansions, every third Sunday of the month.

Based in Chicago, R&D is a music event/mix series focused on nurturing new sounds, experiences and atmospheres while exploring the music and culture it was born or mutated from. Techno, electro, EBM, bass, breaks, club and beyond.
