The hand-drawn artwork, which has become iconic to the Cherushii sound, are original creations by Cherushii’s sister, Sabrina. With this reissue, we offer gloss large prints of the original cover art plus a new front cover: the lovable nudibranch pattern. Chosen by Sabrina after a dream visitation, the nudibranch is a fitting mascot for this project as Chelsea was a great admirer of invertebrates. The nudibranch is an otherworldly creature which harnesses its profound coloration to flourish in the infinity of the ocean. Before its colors pop, however, it must shed its adolescent shell.

Beyond Sabrina's artwork, these 3 EPs feature some of Cherushii’s talented friends and mentors, from her production with @goldendonna, lyrics by her longtime friend Kara Marie, and an appearance by her childhood music teacher Marcia Miget, to remixes by 100% SILK all-stars Bobby Browser and @magic_touch.

Limited to 300 pressings on 3 x 12" black vinyl in wide UV gloss spine, UV gloss sleeves. Comes with download cards and a Cherushii tarot card sticker.

Alien D (@aliendan) is one of the many production monikers of Sweat Equity NYC (@sweat-equity) founder, Dan Creahan. Dan is a prominent character in New York's nightlife community - master of thoughtful tangents about anything, and a widely favorite dancefloor smile, Dan keeps a reassuring humor in his stride that manifests both musically and energetically. 

Dan describes his Hodgepodge mix by saying “In a more general sense, is that it's definitely mostly coming from terrestrial radio airwaves. If I'm renting a car or taking a road trip, I generally like to let the radio run as opposed to popping in an Aux. There's something to be said for letting the local environs sort of seep into your trip in that way. A lot of these probably come from WFMU/WKCR, but there's definitely some very odd characters mixed in – a couple film scans, some co-habitation digs, etc. I also generally do not Shazam techno or club music, usually, I'm too deep in the sauce to really scan while I'm out, so the playlist here definitely reflects me out "in the world" or something of the sort.”

Noah Prebish’s cover art captures the whimsical yet reverent nature of terrestrial radio, situating Dan as an AM/FM pioneer, climbing and chopping his way to an audio freedom that comes from “surfing” the channels.

California born and based DJ, Nick Moss, is a former member and creative contributor of Kosmetik, a queer San Francisco-based music collective that ran a weekly pre-pandemic event at the legendary venue, The Stud. He is also one of the co-conspirators of Kosmetik’s A/V mix series, KTV, which aired for a year on the Bay Area’s beloved Fault Radio. Currently, his focus lies in co-producing ‘Quiche’, an open-air dance party in San Francisco that has recently made its debut on the SF scene. His sets keep listeners and dancers on their toes, taking unexpected turns through various moods, and dipping through a wide array of left-field sounds and genres including psychedelic techno, wave, electro, and beyond.
