After a hot streak of festival spins this summer, one of the biggest anthems residing in the record box of one of Holland’s bonafide superstars, Hardwell, gets its official worldwide release as part of the  Toolroom Records Anniversary Remixes series.

Masterfully rewoven and reedited by man of the moment Hardwell, Mark Knight and Funkagenda’s anthemic ‘Man With The Red Face’ has been reinterpreted into a fizzing big room, high energy mix crafted to fill the largest and loudest festival arenas. 

A monumental track in the history of Toolroom Records, Mark Knight and Funkagenda’s cover of Laurent Garnier’s ‘Man With The Red Face’ cemented the label’s position in the dance music scene, winning ‘Best Ibiza Track 2008’ at Pacha’s Ibiza DJ Awards and Beatport’s ‘Best Tech House Track of 2008’.

Since his first EP with Toolroom back in 2010, the synergy between Hardwell and the label has grown into a fruitful pairing that has laid witnessed to the chart topping single ‘Three triangles (Losing My Religion)’ and various appearance for the Toolroom parties that have spread around the world including a guest slot at the their former residency at Space in Ibiza.

With strong support by Radio 1 in Ibiza and having just scored #1 in the Buzz Chart, this Hardwell remix of ‘Man With The Red Face’ is set to soar to the top demonstrating the timeless qualities of this scene classic.

Revolution is Diplo's follow up to the meme-defining Express Yourself EP. From beginnings as DJs, remixers and producers, The Young Punx have spent the past few years developing a name for themselves as pioneers who aren’t afraid to break the rules… one minute producing filthy electro, the next recording a twenty piece live brass section and then cutting and mashing it up in the studio.  Fitting then that their sophomore album ‘Mashpop &amp; Punkstep’ encapsulates their ethos of deliberate removal of genre boundaries, providing next level mash-up culture music and enough surprises to keep fans, new and old, happy.

The only act that would open an album with a drum and bass, heavy metal, pop and Cuban track ‘You, You, You’ and make it enjoyable and accessible. Recent single ‘Ready For The Fight’ combines the best of London dance production with big room hip hop vibes, thanks to the vocal talents of indie hip hop don Count Bass D.  Praised by the critics, the track has also been chosen as the official entry music for IBF Middleweight World Champion boxer Arthur Abraham.  Alongside this sit the twisted disco vibes of ‘SugarCandySuperNova’, electro-pop anthem ‘Burn Burn Burn’ and the time travelling journey that is ‘Simple Pleasures’ – a track that opens with 1970’s influenced punk, ends with D&amp;B style toastings and is proof that that a hooky riff, strong bassline and love-based lyrics are a timeless blend.  Throw in a Young Punx take on Puccini’s ‘O Mio Babbino Caro’ and you have a snapshot of The Young Punx indefinable, genre-hopping and ever inventive sound. 

The Young Punx aim is to “embody the spirit of a great party where the music is f***king cool and credible, but all about good times and fun”. 

At the core of the Young Punx collective is the trio of Hal Ritson, Nathan Taylor and Simon Bettison, who fulfil different roles on stage and in the studio, all the while embodying the electronica that sits at the core of the TYP sound.  The triumvirate surround themselves with an eclectic group of influences and collaborators that help to make the collective what it is today.  Indeed, theirs could well be the only studio where a speed metal guitarist (Guthrie Govan), a leading underground dance producer (Phonat), who co-produced the album, a top US rapper from Memphis (Count Bass D), a London based rock singer (Laura Kidd), an opera singer (Jassy Husk), a brass band and a couple of DJ’s all meet, make music together and enjoy a drink afterwards.

Individually the Young Punx are a bunch of musical over-achievers and together they have already caught the ear of some of the world’s top DJs and producers and built themselves a solid base of dedicated followers through their podcasts. The Young Punx live band also doubles up as Dizzee Rascal's live band, with Hal Ritson acting as Music Director for Dizzee's critically acclaimed show at the BBC Electric Proms. Hal has also been working as Musical Director for Example's live band, including his recent BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge performance. 

They’ve got the high profile hook-ups, primetime placements and an impeccable pedigree, with the release of ‘Mashpop &amp; Punkstep’ The Young Punx could well have produced the first dancefloor focused, must-have album of the year…

RESET! is a collective based in Milano, made of 4 djs, producers and promoters.
Whether it’s in the studio, behind the decks or promoting their own nights, Reset! have established themselves as an A-List act, regularly pulling in more than 2000 clubbers to their own infamous parties in Milan and clocking up the air miles playing some of the biggest parties around the world - from Hard in L.A. to Pacha's Closing party in Ibiza - two own tours in Australia and Asia and some big Uk festivals.

Started in 2007 as a party, RESET! became one of the best events in town, gathering a mixed up crowd - from indie rockers to b-boys, old school ravers to students - with its funk-driven electronic music, from Nu Disco to Bassline and everything in between, and taking place in the most different venues: from small underground clubs to wearhouses, from Parco Sempione (with 5000+ people!) to Magazzini Generali, the most prestigious venue in town.
Meanwhile, after developing as the leading alternative electronic music event in Milano, they started to build RESET! as a music project summing up their long time experience as producers. 

Indeed it was in 2009 after playing alongside house legends Cassius that Reset! were invited to rework the French duo's anthemic "Youth, Speed, Trouble, Cigarettes" that got instant support from big djs, remained on Beatport's Indie Dance Top 10 for several weeks and featured on Mixmag cover CD.
Following this breakthrough Reset!’s unmistakable funk yet banging sound has been in constant demand with the boys adding their Italian touch to a string of remixes for the likes of Fatboy Slim, Audio Bullys, Robyn, Fenech Soler, Mad Decent, Bingo Players and once again Cassius, remixing the house classic Cassius 99.

They released music on some of the world's best labels - including 4 EP's on Cheap Thrills and several songs on Southern Fried, Dim Mak, Ministry Of Sound Australia - defining since their very first tunes their signature "Turbofunk" sound (a unique blend of huge basslines and melodic hooks, 70's funk samples and shuffling beats) and gaining an endless list of top supporters like Annie Mac, Armand Van Helden, Madeon, Busy P, Justice's Xavier De Rosnay, Faithless, a steady airplay on BBC1 and several songs on Beatport Top 100.

Their Bosco Delrey remix was included in Mad Decent compilation Vol.1 by Diplo and in an Italian Adidas commercial, while their raving remix for Hervé's “Blaze It” was included in the official Gran Turismo 5 soundtrack.
Late 2011 they developped their unique live show with a full band: seven elements on stage, with drum, guitars, synths, talkbox, turntables, singers and visuals to merge the power of electro with a strong rock attitude.

In 2013 they were signed with SONY Italy, releasing their first single on a major label: "I Need You", supported by a great video shot in LA, a remix competition launched by MTV and and got chosen by the brand JDC for a national TV campaign.

May 20th they released their first full album on SONY MUSIC. 
'We tried to push the boundaries of composing club music with a more musical approach, with a lot of arrangement and vocals, mixing synths with real instruments (saxophones, guitars and talkbox) into more complex songs that keep evolving and changing from beginning to the end, having a broad range of influences - from old school funk to cosmic disco, 70's rock with some prog moments to 90's hip hop - while keeping our solid RESET! sound' , the band says.

The album hosts a great variety of collaborations: from uk new wave legend Paul King to US hip hop veterans Erick Sermon (EPMD) and Keith Murray, MIA's collaborator Afrikan Boy to soul singers Lisa Kekaula (Basement Jaxx), Caprice and Daniel Pearce and some of the most influencial Italian rappers like Guè Pequeno, Noyz Narcos, Clementino, Ensi.
