In the realm of electronic dance music, John ‘Quivver’ Graham and Dave Seaman need little introduction. Between them, they have amassed several decades of experience in the field, working with some of the biggest names in music along the way. From David Bowie to Kylie Minogue, Pet Shop Boys to Led Zeppelin, their musical influence has been heard far and wide with the pair having visited more than 100 countries to ply their lauded DJing skills.

Born out of Covid enforced lockdowns, the duo have now joined forces, working together on a wide array of music that has finally started to see the light of day and of course, the dark of night! The first fruits of this exciting new collaboration have found homes on the likes of Frankey & Sandrino’s Sum Over Histories and Steve Bug’s Poker Flat imprints over recent months with plenty more lined up and waiting in the wings.

“We’ve know each other as friends for many years”, explains Dave. “We have a similar musical outlook and have moved in the same circles for longer than we care to remember, so the transition into the studio was an easy one”.

“With this project we made a conscious effort to go in directions we don’t normally go” continues John. “Some of the new material isn’t club oriented at all but we’re saving that for further down the line. We can’t wait to start sharing it all.”

Producer, engineer and DJ extraordinaire Reset Robot is the alias of Dave Robertson, an accomplished artist based in Portsmouth on the south coast of the UK. Since launching the pseudonym in 2009 he has traveled the globe, DJing at many of the world’s most influential clubs and festivals, as well as rolling out a slew of well-received productions on labels such as Drumcode, Mobilee, Hotflush and his own platform Whistleblower Records. 

As a DJ Reset Robot’s unassuming approach belies his magnetic appeal and innate ability to craft sets that are polished, enthralling and full of shadowy allure. A self-confessed studio hound, he spends all day, every day at the controls, allowing creativity to flow out of him and refining his skills. Two decades of experience feed into his output, and he prefers to keep things uncomplicated in the studio. The resultant sound is his signature; brooding, sombre, yet accessible and contagious. 

Reset Robot’s visceral rhythms infect your subconscious urging you to dance, while captivating motifs and riffs stay with you long after the rave has ended; earworms of the highest order.
