Deteriorative Cognition

Starting from 2006, Echolight formed by four young men from Bandung, Indonesia. This project is a deviceful place to meet our affection in music. Ever since the beginning, we composed our music and evolving as the time passes. Inspired by the flow of rock, shoegaze, post-punk and post-rock, the instrumental music becomes a form of submission and the interpretation of our life experiences. Echolight are Fariz Halim, Gega Darmawan, Fendy Gustya Suwardana and Dito Setiasa. We complement our music with different perspectives. These differences enrich the music and make specific traits for integrality of the band. We are part of certain independent music scene community and have performed in several major cities in Indonesia.

Echolight has officially released the first singles containing two tracks: “MAD (Maturity After Depression)” and “Glare of Glowing City” in 2009, those tracks are shaped rock-style instrumental, shoegaze and post-rock. The Singles can be downloaded for free and has been reached for more than 5000 downloads spreading throughout the world.

We have completed 11 tracks including 2 songs in the singles earlier to be documented in the first full length album. This album is a pack of stories of life impression and human nature, all wrapped up in one character we called Gianni Porto. This album will be released soon in 2013.

Here we are an echo with the light.

Reset To Zilch was formed in early 2011 which consist members from various musical background, who somehow met and established on the same path. Their musical style can best be described in the tongues of masses as Post-Rock. Though the term "Post-Rock" often makes one think about the classic traditional structure, Reset To Zilch explores in faster pace, if not anti-climax in some of their songs, but still keep a room for dark and dreamy ambient soundscape. They try to penetrate listeners mind with their washy delay guitars, roaring bass distortion, and light to heavy drum strokes and wander around freely for one's own storyline, be it a nightmare or a peaceful dream.

 Since the released of their self-titled debut EP on July 2012, they're looking forward for more future projects and to share their musical journey with different artists and listeners.
