B3 GARNIER - Dinosaurs Are Gone (S3A's Ravist Remix)(preview)

Fifteen years have passed since the release of the first and only ‘Demo Tracks’ compilation to date on Tresor Records. For this new commencement, we are proud to present three exceptional upcoming producers, selected amongst the various different paperboard envellopes and electronic communications received daily, here in the vault.

Acronym has been slowly and mysteriously instructing his sound over the last three years through his own Dimensional Exploration imprint out of Stockholm. With ‘Nabu’ he presents a dimension of his work so far only known to those who had the chance to hear him perform live.

Hailing from the northern Spanish surroundings of Bilbao, J.C. is a young producer whose work has surfaced on labels like Deeply Rooted or Greener. He also runs an eponymous record series and offers here a shaking number ‘CheNox’, keeping his ears riveted on the Berlin sound.

Last but far from least, Zadig is a producer who has been regularly catching our attention. Growing figure of the French and Parisian scene, his polished sound possesses many different facets. With ‘Panic’, Zadig looks back to some of the crudest moments of the Tresor catalog.

GusGus - Crossfade (Maceo Plex Mix)

Field Records is to release a two-CD compilation and three vinyl samplers of music from the label's artists old and new entitled simply, Collection.

This second sampler pulls together three tracks of deep, dubby and ambient music from French producer duo Polar Inertia, Remote_ and Sweden's Varg. His track 'Ohns Odegard' is a serene and autumnal bit of ambient with swollen pads and incidental synths making for a soothing atmosphere. Remote_'s 'Echo Of You' is just as wide open and serene but has a warm, rubbery pulse driving it along and finally Polar Inertia gets a little frazzled and intense with their loopy slow techno roller 'Sonic Outlaws'.

“TV Room (Roberto Capuano Remix) is a prime example of how “TV Room” can be successfully used. Remixed by Naples-born Roberto Capuano, who has exploded on the scene with his techno and techno-house creations, the starts with a heavy tribal drum. It incorporates the same bass elements as the original by [Wex 10] however the approach is vastly different with its intent. Keeping the set foundation of the original, the Roberto Capuano Remix probes an intensity that would be welcome at any festival, club, or place where people can dance. Any fan of house music would welcome this track.

This summer SHADED swapped the Sunshine State for the sun-drenched city of Barcelona and a European excursion that proved a huge and inspiring success. 

In a twist, SHADED's new single sees him combining some of his home town freakiness with the hedonistic, passionate and open-minded vibes of his adopted seasonal home. 

Gender Bender, as its names suggests, is a non-conforming tech-house cut,  an exotic number, with sultry vocals, rubbery groove and electro stabs that rock with a 'no-fucks-given' attitude. 

A big single deserves a big remix package and SCI+TEC mainstay Carlo Lio unleashes with a remix that sees him going harder and heavier than we've seen him for some time. Bringing things back down is Ireland's Matador, who turns in a chugging, groove-heavy rework. A perfect brace. 

Rounding out the package is SHADED's Funk Tone. Like an electronic popping candy, this cheeky techno tool is a mouth watering treat and a great addition to the release.

One Records co-founder Subb-an gets set to release his first full output for the label with two solid club cuts that both embody him as an artist and also the label. Title track ‘Warp’ takes the A-side with Subb-an teaming up once again with vocalist Jacob Phono, since ‘In The Night’ was released on Cocoon, to deliver ‘TV’ on the flip. This is certainly one of Subb-an’s standout releases to date, fully epitomising what he plays in his sets and not to mention one of his personal favourites.  
Originally from Birmingham, Ashique Subhan aka Subb-an now resides in Berlin. A DJ, producer and live artist, his success has been testament to his hard work and dedication . His prodigious studio talents have seen him release on Spectral, Crosstown Rebels, Visionquest, Cocoon and his own One Records.
Taking a break from playing live due to establishing himself as a highly respected DJ, this summer has seen him come back to playing live, taking his show on the road and showcasing his new material at the likes of fabric, Warehouse Project in Manchester, Panorama Bar and Glastonbury where he closed the Genisys stage after Francois K. The tour has stood alongside his heavy DJ schedule, playing at all the major hot spots including regular gigs at DC10’s Circoloco this summer.

Soma add another Glasgow based artist to the roster in the form of young talent Deepbass. After a string of successful releases on his own Informa Records, Soma welcomes his sub aquatic sounds into the fold. Deepbass definitely brings his own unique sound to the label and kicks off his account with two bass driven, deep Techno killers.

Title track Moha starts the EP off in typical Deepbass fashion. A solid foundation is built from the start as Deepbass gradually introduces each element of the track slowly. Swirling, dubbed out percussion floats by as hypnotic synth elements are padded out with eloquently phrased pads that glide through the background. Deepbass excels in creating a real sense of tension throughout his music and Moha is a great example of this.

Dune follows up perfectly from the opener. Subtle percussion and dream like pads, just thought out enough to become reality, gently straddle another venture into heavy sub bass territory. Faint touches on delay and reverb space the track out even more as Deepbass lets this loop out to help give a sense of direction and purpose to the overall track.

Deepbass is certainly one who has been working hard in the background of the Techno scene for some time now and Soma are proud to add him to the list of home based talent on the label.

The Tiga/Zombie Nation supergroup returns with another blast of cortex-sizzling electro-funk. Featuring a remix by Nautiluss.

The latest single off the PARTYS OVER EARTH LP romances the grindstone with five and a half minutes of hard labor in the Analog Mines. 

"This extended 12" version is meant to honor the spirit of the Working Man. It is the product of two pairs of hands getting hands-on with the machines, pumping out the jam and punching out the clock," says Tiga, the man who puts the "T" in ZZT, and the "H" in Chaos.

The release also features a remix by Nautiluss, the new techno alias of Thunderheist's Graham Zilla. Look for his amazing Turbo debut EP, due in early 2012.

CASSEGRAIN are Greek-British producer Alex Tsiridis and Berlin/Vienna based composer and producer Hüseyin Evirgen. With a well developped sensitiveness the duo designs futuristic and dark techno sound-scapes with a strong experimental touch. 
TIN MAN is another outstanding artist and the second half of this collaboration. With his releases on Cheap Records, Global A and the Sähkö-sub label Keys of Life he proved well, how easily he can switch between strong classic acid and abstract, postmodern songwriting. 
The tracks that resulted from this very special collaboration, are exactly what you might expect: An ideal and unique combination of modern dark techno as it comes from labels such as prologue or stroboscopic artefacts and classic acid. Some of them aim directly at the dancefloor, some come along rather dreamy and spaced out.

Turbo presents the latest in its stable of new techno artists with a powerful EP from Belgium's Locked Groove.

Hot off a much-hyped release for Scuba's Hotflush imprint, Locked Groove returns with three amazing tracks that showcase the growing influence of bass music on the traditional spheres of Berghain techno and Chicago house. Masterfully recreating the core elements of these established genres while infusing them with massive doses of energy and personality, this 23-year-old producer creates no-nonsense, big-room club tracks with memorable - albeit almost subliminal - hooks.

It seems hard to believe that Locked Groove only appeared on the scene in early 2011, with an output that has already garnered an impressive share of accolades, landing him on Groove Magazine's Top 10 Singles, Scuba's recent DJ Kicks mix-CD, and charts from artists as varied as Ripperton, Brodinski, and Peter Van Hoesen. And now, most importantly, he joins Turbo's blindingly promising roster of young techno artists.

A - Locked Groove - Different Paths

For the third installment of our Club Construction series we proudly re-issue a modern classic straight out of Baltimore, USA. Now "Bring In The Katz" isn't an old track, so why are we re-releasing it so soon? Because it's been the biggest dancefloor bomb in our sets for months and we feel it deserves attention far beyond its native Baltimore Club scene. A few words about the track itself - a "Think" break and big 808 kicks are a staple of the genre and they're deployed here with precision. MC PORK CHOP commentates on the track's structure, calling on KW GRIFF to "Bring In The Katz", referring to a quintessential scat sample from the proto-Ballroom classic "Din Da Da" by Kevin Aviance. "Katz" is the epitome of an endothermic club track - once those "katz" drop get ready for the walls to cave in. A Club Construction through and through. On the flip L-VIS 1990 gives us his dub mix. Stripping out the break and most of the vocals and focussing in on the hyper-rhythmic scat stab pattern of the original, L-Vis beefs up the bass and adds a cowbell to the equation. A simple process but a dramatic transformation that results in the most streamlined and effective pieces of club music we've heard in forever.

Turbo Recordings is proud to present RGB, the fifth album from top-class veteran super-producer Zombie Nation. The LP's 14 tracks refine and expand upon the Munich studio genius' signature sound, making it a worthy successor to previous classics like Black Toys and Zombielicious, not to mention his groundbreaking work as half of cult demigods ZZT. This is some of the biggest-sounding dance music you'll hear all year, infused with a masterful attention to detail and one of the scarcest commodities in the genre: genuine character and personality. 

Since emerging on the scene with a track on the shortlist of the biggest stadium anthems ever ("Kernkraft 400"), Mr. Nation has delivered a stellar series of albums, EPs and remixes, in addition to becoming a popular draw as a mindblowing live performer. His sound combines handmade Italian grooves, stark German efficiency, and a decidedly pro-ethnic swing. There is nothing overtly trendy going on here, no stadium EDM or poolside lifestyle house. These are off-the-leash party tracks that dance to their own tune. This pioneer of crowdsourced music creation is an absolute master of the MPC, and a true analog studio wizard, resulting in a feel simultaneously loose and tight, like a pair of Munich disco-lederhosen - bursting in the crotch and open on the calves. 

RGB is the work of an artist at the peak of his considerable powers, featuring music that literally could not have been created by anyone else.
