The first episode of our podcast series dedicated to cross-genre dance music based on dreamy, groovy, sensual house, techno and breakbeat, belongs to QBS. A vinyl enthusiast, great selector, promoter of deep, unobvious sounds on the Polish club scene for almost 20 years. Curator of event series IMPRO. Marco Shuttle has been a hugely prominent figure in the Italian techno scene over the last decade. He pushes an abstract, hypnotic sound that often draws close comparisons with the legendary @donato-dozzy. He’s released sublime records on Dozzy and Neel’s label @spaziodisponibile, @thebunkerny and his own fantastic Eerie imprint, who have just released a remix package of his classic ‘Vox Attitude’ featuring @atom_tm and @pessimist.  As a DJ he has refined his sound over the years to be wildly rhythmic and trance-like and we’re very pleased to share his latest offering with you for Bleep #60.

This May, we bought our Community Connections series to Paris, following previous editions in Los Angeles and Lisbon. The series brings our features, podcast and films into the real world through a number of community-based events focusing on vital local artists, collectives, promoters and venues pushing the scene forward.

We kicked off Community Connections Paris with a deep listening session at Silencio where Voiski channeled his inner Vangelis for this mediative improvisation.

A Dj/producer from Okinawa, Japan. Now based Berlin. Iori’s musical career started up in Naha, Okinawa in the late 90′s. He went to New York in 2003, and later on headed back to Japan after serving as a project coordinator for The Loft under David Mancuso. Taking Okinawa as center, Iori is famed in both Japan and stages around the world at the present. As deeply influenced by True Deep house, Manuel Gottsching, Moritz Von Oswald, and Basic Channel, Iori does not only present sets ranging from House to Techno but is also proficient in alternative deep sets. 
Characterised by the heavy and bouncy rhythms , grand atmospheric synth layers, He has already established his unique sound in the European techno / house circuit.

His past release have fancied by international DJs such as Cio D'or, Kirk Degiorgio , Nick Hoppner , Mike Parker , Sigha , Levon Vincent, and enthusiastically supported by many domestic underground Djs Like DJ NOBU…
