This is the recording of my DJ set at Berghain on sunday morning 6th of February 2011, between 8 and 12am. Deep respect to Stroboscopic Artefacts for having me as part of the line-up, the Berghain crew for being the perfect hosts and last but not least that massive pack of dancing nutters on the floor (especially the Belgian delegation present for the occasion). Thanks everyone, it was fun.

Excited to share with you my very first set of 2024, recorded live at Ratherlost party at LoFi, Amsterdam on January 1st, 2024. 
It was truly one of the best NY shows I've ever been a part of. The club was completely packed and on fire as I took over the decks following Quelza & Nørbak’s incredible B2B set. My aim was to keep this massive momentum going while leading the floor on a journey to get lost in the music. Hope you can feel this mood and energy from the recording.

A surefire provider of deep, complex weapons for the dance floor and beyond, French-born, Berlin-based artist Kangding Ray has been minting some of the most strikingly unique techno records in recent memory. His body of work for some of the most reputed record labels out there, including Raster Noton, Stroboscopic Artefacts and his own outlet, ara, cuts an introspective path, halfway modular-leaning escapology and beat-driven abstraction. From his background in architecture, his musical approach retains that fondness for structure and the creation, or re-creation of space, both as an actual object and a mental projection. Brooklyn-based DJ and producer Clarisa Kimskii has cemented her musical footprint on the borough since moving back in 2022. Through a palpable blend of psychedelic and driving techno, Clarisa’s approach to the genre is deeply idiosyncratic - an assemblage of both timeless and modern grooves.

As a producer, Clarisa has contributed to a handful of respected labels (Monday Off, Dusk & Haze, Mysteries of the Deep, etc.) within her sonic niche, but it’s through her own label L.A.G where the ethos of her sound truly takes form - a detailed variation of propulsive and atmospheric soundscapes.

Clarisa is deeply rooted in the techno subculture’s underground, the 20+ year veteran is a regular at city’s premiere institutions like BASEMENT or Nowadays. Clarisa used to be a resident DJ at Brooklyn-based Merge from 2022-2024.

Her pure, yet passionate approach to DJing has graced the decks of memorable nights at international institutions in Tresor, Berghain, Ratherlost or Blitz, and at notably iconic parties in Wrecked, Club Toilet, Pornceptual, and The Bunker NY. Recent festival appearances at Taiwan’s Organik Festival and North America’s Honcho Campout, Draaimolen, Rural Festival and Sustain-Release have only elevated her reputation as a force within those respective communities. The saga continues with juicy bits on the horizon.
