On Dec 7th we brought #RAtwentyfourseven to FOLD, London. A rave utopia across a labyrinth of spaces. From dubstep through to drum and bass, to house and techno, each chapter in the capital’s musical history was told via some of our favourite DJs both experienced and emerging. DJ Bus Replacement Service's ability to play music that truly no-one else would touch marks her as one-in-a-million. When you begin a live set with chipped audio of bickering conversation, slide into an edit of Eiffel 65's "Blue (Da Ba Dee)", move through alien trap, Russian Hardbass and super-sweet pop whimsy – all while wearing a Kim Jong-un mask – and watch the crowd swell and bounce nonstop from there, you've mastered your own niche. She set off the HMT micro-rave at RA 24/7 as only she can do.
