‘Take me 2 the feeling’ features seven songs that have a music box quality to them: soft, charming but also delicate, reflecting the fact that making each of them was a meditative process for the producer. These sparkling, deceptively simple and affecting compositions have arisen from Eta’s music making as a ritual act, one that has helped him process and reconnect with himself amidst a whirlpool of new experiences.
The music slides between various degrees of emotional vulnerability, and contrasts expressions of love with sadness and nostalgia with hope.

In Hour 2 we hand over to worriedaboutsatan, the electronic duo who worked with Adam Curtis on the music for the incredible Hypernormalisation documentary. Music featured includes tracks from Pye Corner Audio, Burial, Brian Eno & Harold Budd, Nine Inch Nails, Suicide and some of their own productions. They had this to say about their mix;
"As we helped Adam Curtis with the music in Hypernormalisation, it seemed like an idea to try and make a mix out of selected moments of the soundtrack for our Solid Steel mix. Even at 17 tracks long, there are still some bits of the soundtrack not included here - this was an attempt to meld together some of the more obscure and melodic moments, so we hope you enjoy. "

Their third proper album, ‘Blank Tape’ is released on the 25th November. They’re playing two shows in November to celebrate: one in London at the Wildcard Brewery on the 24th, and one in Manchester at the Castle on the 28th, then heading out on a UK tour in February.

Music Heals mix

Originating from Colombia Sano was born with rhythm in his soul. Now based in Barcelona he has become a prevalent artist in his own right having found his way into the heart of the Comeme family and now most recently Public Possession. His sound sees him integrate elements of latin music within modern day electronics in an exciting fashion. As a result his presence has continued to grow, travelling regularly this year has seen him play widely across South America and Europe. 

The theme of his mix for us sees him explore his own heritage in great depth as he pays tribute to Latino producers across the globe. He explains in his interview below:

"Genetics. Blood. Proud. Heritage. We, the Latinos, are one big family . The main intention of this mix is to showcase the work of this latin american producers: Nehuen, Sixtoagusto, The Chica, ViVi, Diegors, Rumanians, Vandel."
