Nikoli is about sound and motion, movement and frequency. Creating sets and soundscapes that match the mood and tone of the environment Nikoli plays many diverse styles and genres and is not limited to one sound. He's happiest when the dance floor is moving and mutating towards a higher awareness. He has appeared throughout Ontario and Quebec playing show stopping sets at events such as Orion, OPEN MIND Festival, ECLIPSE, Heal Your Mind Festival, OM Gathering, and more. 
 
Nikoli is also a co-founder and co-creator with the Music.Art.Ppl collective. He and the MAP team have been working diligently the past few years orchestrating events in the Ottawa area which spotlight talented musicians and artists.

I am a West Coast United States kid. Born in Portland in October 26 of 1974. A Scorpio raised in CALI. Mainly influenced by the EDM movement out of Manchester in the 80s. I worked as a kid to buy my first MK1200s and would skate to the record stores to see if they had anything new from Sasha & Digweed. I would then use their set lists to create musical journeys of my own by exploring all the labels and artists. Each week waiting for my next package of Vinyl to arrive and tear it apart to see what white labels they threw in.

I played clubs, forest gatherings, house parties, festivals and with various professionals. It was in the Afterhours scene where I would find my niche.
All of my sets are influenced by my life experience and beliefs. I consider them sacred and spiritual. Each time I play, I think of every sound as another piece in my Temple of sound I am building to share with the world.
