Finally After 11 Years of struggling to create Music & share it, starting of in the smoky basement studio aka. the PROOM that my brother and me build together in our home-town Freiburg deeply rooted in the Heart of the Black Forest, Germany.  To all the way where I’m standing/sitting here right now, looking back an an incredible mountain of never ever dreamed of moments & adventures that I had the pleasure to share with sso many loving human beings I met a long the way. And after all these years I can finally say that I’ve produced a piece of something in the this past Year of 2022 that I'm - humbly speaking - Proud of and ready to share with You & The World.

All tracks in this set as well as the first part of the Album called THE PROCESS will be published in 2023 after proper Mix & Mastering as well as Sample Clearance for some of the Tracks.

As I wrote in the Tags this Music is Afro-House & Amapiano Inspired. I can not confidently stand here claiming it is when it fact with the process of this project i've have just only scratched the surface of the potential and power that lays with in the music, the culture, the history that surrounds this sound i adore from the deepest of my being and have the utmost respect and admiration for.
Next step is a visit to Heart of it all - Soul Africa - The Motherland - in terms of getting even deeper into the realm and the science behind Afro-House and especially mesmerising in todays context of rhythmical music is the phenomena of Amapiaono. I'm highly intrigued by this movement, with strong sense of curiosity yet with an open mind and a lot of love to share in the hopes of learning more about the history and the roots of this vibrant culture and what we human beings can  learn from it, how we can all nourish & grow from it, from even going so far and see a how we can use it in order to heal and overcome our own broken shadows and taping into the light of human potential and prosperity of all beings and creation under this planetary micro/macro cosmos rollercoaster ride of freakin madness called The UNIVERSE.

This is a live recording from Nicosia, Cyprus @ Colazione by TRAP and Techno Habits. A special daytime event that took place last March at a beautiful location alongside Labyrinthine and Paul Angelo & Don Argento.

Alex Tomb - born in Nicosia in the 80s. Mainly a DJ for over 20 years and music creator lightly after, with residencies at legendary klubd, Nicosia for over a decade, and currently at STAUB, Berlin.
He had releases on various European labels such as Maeve, STAUB, as well as his own label Capparis Spinosa. An experienced mixer with precise attention to detail, a very delicate touch and effervescent resonance. Alex directs the listener through deep explorative trips that play with the psyche. A musical dialogue filled with colours, changes of perspective and almost life - changing dispositions.

If Archil & Leon wanted to debunk the clichés of mad sound engineers/musicians who spend entire nights in a studio cave without seeing daylight, they failed. They perfectly embody the characters of passionate (and fascinating) creators, who see in the sounds of reality as many opportunities to create music. In a Parisian basement, Archil & Leon invited RADIO NOVA a few weeks ago to discover their whimsical instruments, creating a treasure trove of innovation.

They use these quirky creations to compose for artists like Crystal Murray (Archil produced her track "Princess") and brands like Apple and Hermès. During the lockdown, more and more people began to follow Archil & Leon's experiments, as they transformed Archil’s heartbeat into a groovy beat with a stethoscope turned Stethophone, or made a melody with the vibration of a dildo turned Dildophone. The challenge they set themselves is crafting fine alternative pop with these inventions. A challenge they take on with ease, featuring indie dance/indietronica tracks (Wild Child, Magic Is Now, True Colours, Underwater Visions) as well as more downtempo ones (Casablanca or Without You By My Side).

Today, we're proudly sharing a mix from Joachim, an Affin-only set just under two hours, featuring ambient and atmospheric techno tracks from the past two years of this iconic record label.

Joachim Spieth is a German DJ, music producer and label owner who emerged musically in the late nineties and has since developed a multi-faceted spectrum of sound between the poles of ambient and spherical techno. Characteristic for his work is the attention to detail  and a sensitive sensorium for the creation of atmospheres, which one can hardly escape, no  matter if this takes place in his studio work or in his performances. 

After several years of intensive collaboration with Wolfgang Voigt's Kompakt imprint, he founded his own label, Affin, in 2007, which has been constantly developing ever since and has made a name for itself internationally. Besides quite a few EP's and collaborations, he has released a number of albums in the past years such as Irradiance, Tides, Ousia, Terrain as well as the recently released Reshape projekt, which features variations of his music tracks by Alva Noto, ASC, bvdub and others. In addition to the albums, the Textures Sound Library series was created, which impressively document Spieth's musical development. As a DJ, Joachim Spieth has been performing in more than 30 countries all over the world. He’s driven by an absolute devotion to music and his pleasure to share it.

C'est comme un conte,
Une histoire qu'on chuchote quand les paupières s'enlacent 
Un murmure que l'on entends parfois quand on tends l'oreille aux forêts et aux pierres mouillées. 
 

C'est un mouvement qui s'éveille
Comme une vague qui prend forme quelque part entre le cœur et le poumons
Quelque chose qui respire pour nous
malgré nous

C'est un cri qu'on ne dis pas où alors seulement avec le corps 
C'est une libération qui s'exprime, une justice qu'on se donne, une liberté que l'on se grave dans la peau à la nuit tombée 


C'est des mondes fantastiques et des jours meilleurs qu'on entrevois dans les interstices, quand l'ordre établi est allé se coucher, et qu'il ne reste que les résistantes au milieu des lumières qui clignotent  et du jour qui se lève

C'est le bruit des frontières qui s'estompent et des réalités qui basculent. Une ligne qu'on gomme entre la fiction et la réalité, mais as t elle seulement un jour existé. 


C'est des peurs qui s'évanouissent dans la nuit, la brume et la musique, des découvertes qu'on fait sur soi quand personne ne regarde, et qu'on collectionne dans une boîte rangée sous le plexus.

C'est une cabane perchée dans les cimes de notre inconscient, et qui se rit des tempêtes et des orages car elle parle aux nuages et est un refuge pour nos cœurs épuisés. 

C'est un songe qu'on a oublié d'oublier, une fois éveillé
Une image rémanente faite d'échos bizarres et doux que certaines appellent des rêves et que moi j'appelle de l'espoir
