Hey Everyone! This is a small preview of my new album which is going to be released sometime after the summer by Audio Theory Records. I am sharing this mostly cause many of you are asking whether i have new material to release over the next few months or not! Well,here it is! The story so far:
Resonant Status was around the underground electronic scene for quite some time, before emerging from the depths of deep bass lines, tight snares and out worldly soundscapes.Eventhough he was influenced by the Psy-trance movement, back in the 90’s, he quickly realized that the energy that pumps into the Breakbeat music, would be his next musical step. The ‘big-beat’ sound he delivered in his sets, during the early 00’s, made an impact on the local club scene building slowly the local myth of RS. With his own radio show in Greece’s ROCK FM, he worked as a producer and managed to get numerous DJ residencies in many underground clubs in Athens.
After some experimentation, he re-invented his style, from Big-Beat to pure breaks resulting in various (and quite random dare I say!) appearances in compilations from minor labels.
His cinematic, almost ritualistic style caught the eye (if not the ear) of many important labels during the last 5 years including: Rune Rec, Divergence, VIM , Break Wind Productions and Audio Theory and his work was and still is supported by well-respected radio shows. 
2013 is the year that marks RS's sonic attack to the dancefloors,with his debut album 'Tight Bonds' getting huge support and feedback from artists/radio producers and warriors alike. A milestone for the greek breakbeat scene with collaborations from all over the musical map.
Sound engineer, producer and musician this guy will definitely keep doing what he does best. Breaks of all kinds, breaks for all kinds!

                           KOM started playing guitar at age 12, and later studied music theory at Chapman University.  A fascination  with harmonic progressions and the way chords relate to one another lead to the study of jazz and a deep understanding of chordal progressions.  The "circle of fifths" enlightened her to the infinite number of chordal combinations that go into constructing good music. KOM wrote a number of progressions on  guitar based on what she had learned, but  found that her interest lied in seeking out those individuals who possess a natural talent for song writing.  Since Breaks, House, Funk, Bass, and sometimes Trance are what she is drawn to, she spends countless hours attempting to find the rare individuals who have combined a basic understanding of composition, with the knowledge and skills of the electronic music medium.  To me, nothing is more beautiful than when those two worlds come together.  She feels it is her personal responsibility, to draw out such individuals and promote them to the best of her ability.

Cryogenics started as a listener in the early 90s, with a growing passion for the Jungle/Drum & Bass scene. 
He started to spin records at home and then at school parties. In 1995, with his best friend at the time, they played their first DJ set in a club. He bought his first PC a year later and with ‘FasTracker2’ he tried to compose his first tunes. His first track ‘Source Code’ garnered praise and made him known within the local jungle/d&b scene. In 2001, with Requiem (Vibez Recordings/Outsider) and some friends, he started promoting their own club nights in Athens, hosting guests like Equinox, Bizzy B, Chris Inperspective, 0=0, Paradox, Phil Source and more. 
A few years later he met with Junior SP, an encounter that proved pivotal to his musical ascend. He became a resident DJ on JSP’s “Innersense” events alongside LTJ Bukem, Blu Mar Ten, Goldie, Spirit, Seba, Om Unit, Ed Rush, Doc Scott, Dom & Roland, Kryptic Minds, Commix and many more. 
His first production foray came on Timewarp’s label, Kraak Records. Counter-intuitively it was a non-d&b release.
In 2012 Cryogenics decided to launch his own label Audio Theory Records to cater for his own material and provide a platform to promote music from like-minded artists, covering a wide spectrum of bass music from deep/minimal Drum & Bass to Dubstep and Future Garage. A year later he established the sister label Evil Audio, focusing on drumfunk and modern jungle.
Cryogenics has released on a variety of record labels including the likes of Omni Music, Boomsha Recordings, Convoluted Recordings, Liquid Drops, Monochrome Recordings, Minus32, Kraak Records, Audio Theory, Evil Audio and more!
