Tyrus Dorsey
Music Producer/Mixing Engineer

Tyrus "T.D." Dorsey was born and raised in Northside Houston, Texas on October 23, 1982. A business man and certified audio engineer, his mission is to build a brand that allows himself to use his gifts and knowledge of the music business to help others build towards success.
A true artist, Tyrus began his musical journey in his middle school band class where he played the baritone. 

Tyrus moved to Dallas, Texas in 2000; and by 2003 he had begun producing music on a PC program music maker. Shortly after, personal struggles lead Tyrus to step away from his musical aspirations. In 2006, however, he decided it was time for him to follow his dream, take a chance, and invest in himself. He enrolled in Collin County College in 2006 and completed his Audio Engineering/Music Production Certification in 2008. In that same year, Tyrus also attained a business management certification with the goal of owning the biggest studio facility in the country. 

Following the completion of his certifications, Tyrus opened T.D. Music Studios. His mission was to create an avenue for artists to be heard. A true professional and perfectionist, Tyrus reached out to other industry heavy weights to help build his brand and further cultivate his talents. This is what lead Tyrus to work as an in-house audio engineer, assistant, and intern for King Logan of Royal Court Productions in Fred Hammond Studios in Dallas. 

Tyrus' long term goal is to work with artists and assist them with reaching their dreams. His musical influences are 2Pac, Master P and Dr. Dre. "Always follow your passion and God will make a way for your gift to blossom and touch others." - Tyrus Dorsey
