This track was created by a group of pupils who attend Middlehurst Special School, Stoke-on-Trent as part of their creative enrichment and day October 2012.

We used Garageband to build and produce the track using samples, software instruments, soundscapes and original vocals recorded by the pupils.

Classic Slime Beats (Middlehurst Special School)

This music soundtrack has been specially composed by Re:Source Me to accompany the 'Moon' exhibition at the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery from the 14 December 2012. 

It combines archive audio from the Apollo 11 and 17 missions with elements of synthesised sound, special effects and traditional instruments to convey to the visitor the sense of the vastness of space, the scale of the achievement, the excitement of the crew and ground support, and also the sadness of the end of America’s love affair with Apollo.

Re:Souce Me is a local community interest company specialising in the use of creative arts and technology to educate and upskill  young people and communities of Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding areas.

‘The Owl and The Butterfly’, the final in the artist’s trilogy for Systematic Recording, is an album driven not by the science of music creation, but rather Babciz’s own deep connection, or ‘oneness’ with nature he experienced during walks through the Königsforest near his home in Cologne.
The resulting twenty-track opus is a seamless journey through the inimitable ‘Babiczstyle’ of house, techno and electronica; it’s edges polished smoothed, it’s basslines beating with an organic pulse, the album putting the listener at the core of his musical psyche, led first and foremost by feeling and instinct.
