FR : Egregore Collective (@egreg-re) nous propose de découvrir sa huitième sortie avec un E.P du producteur Yaxx (@yaxxlr) présent sur leur various "Un toit c’est un droit".
Yaxx est un membre clé du collectif Azalea, équipe du sud-ouest qui défend à la fois une bass music sombre, éthérée et apocalyptique, tout comme de l’ambient ou encore du noise, et auteurs d’un split sur Egregore avec le collectif Sympa.
Pour cet E.P aux multiples facettes, le producteur Toulousain oscille entre ambient nébuleuse et drum & bass acérée. 
On a choisi pour vous la track Igniza, condensé de violence et de douceur. Les rythmes nous lacèrent les entrailles, et à la manière d'un chirurgien expérimenté Yaxx nous offre quelque moments de répit qui nous permette de nous remettre de nos émotions. 

EN : Egregore Collective (@egreg-re) let us discover their eighth release with an E.P from the producer Yaxx (@yaxxlr), also a contributor to their various "Un toit c’est un droit".
Yaxx is a key member of Azalea collective, a team from the south west which defends a dark bass music, ethereal and apocalyptic, as much as noise and ambient, and also creators of a Split E.P on Egregore Collective with the collective Sympa. 
For this multi-faceted E.P, the Toulouse based producer oscillates in between cloudy ambient and sharp drum & bass. 
We've chosen for you the track Igniza, a true condensed of violence and softness. The rhythms rip our guts, and with the delicacy of an experimented surgeon, Yaxx offers us some quiet moments that allow us to come back from our emotions.

Parisian label [re]sources returns with the third edition of its "Club Hexagon" series dedicated to showcase the current French club / bass scene. Gathering several in-house artists such as Dehousy and Blâme, the compilation features some established French producers like Flore, rRoxymore and Ténèbre but also some newcomers, confirming [re]sources' key role in the development of the club music landscape in France.

Holidays on secluded beaches; long hikes up a mountain to catch the sunset; an unforgettable meal at a restaurant on the square: her preferred means of escaping reality had become impossible over the last year. Now she relied on her imagination to whisk her away. She closed her eyes and pictured herself somewhere free from the pressures of daily life; the waves gently lapping at her feet, the wind rustling her hair and the sun streaming down on her face.

For his debut release on Loose Fit Records, Leipzig-based producer Planetary Secrets explores themes of escapism, translating his personal take on what escaping reality means to him. Conjuring up fantastical feelings of nostalgia and imagined worlds throughout, the opener, 90s rave-inspired 'Guatemala Dreams', transports listeners into dense jungle, while B-side, 'Burning Fist', is a love letter to vintage video games, specifically Tekken. These two original cuts are backed up by remixes from Lobster Theremin affiliate Pépe and Breaka Recordings boss, Breaka.

Throwing Snow’s fourth album is the audiovisually-augmented Dragons, a work that occupies the space between science and ancestral wisdom. It links music back to its prehistoric capacity for transmitting knowledge to new technology that can untangle the complexity of the contemporary world. Dragons’ ten tracks of heavy primal rhythmic productions incorporate the physicality of acoustic sources, from ancient ritual instruments to modern drum kit, and each track is accompanied by visuals generated by a neural network.

As is typical for Tones’ Throwing Snow project, the album contains a bold and eclectic mix of instruments, from a bodhrán and daf to cello, with their uses rooted in their inherent acoustic properties. Tones also essentially built his own sample pack for the percussion patterns, working with drummer Jack Baker (Bonobo, Kelis, Alice Russell, Planet Battagon) on an intensive two-day session.
