Christian Smith is back on his own label for another strong release. 'Let Yourself Go' has his trademark party techno vibe. Lots of energy while staying true to his roots. 'Atmosphere' is a melodic affair that focuses on a warm analog bassline while keeping the traditional Tronic vibe. Christian also included a more stripped-down version of 'Let Yourself Go' and an electro mix of 'Atmosphere'.

Markantonio’s record label AnalyticTrail presents the first of its Black Series compilations, which showcases imprint's dark and raw side.

'Black Series I' features four peak time techno tracks by Beck And Rius, Jacopo Ghirardi and Black Synth (IT), plus one from Markantonio himself.

Based in the Naples region of Italy, Markantonio has been at the top of his country’s club scene for over two decades, and was one of the people who pioneered the genre in the now thriving local techno scene. His track "1990" gives a nod to '90s techno, and is in the dark and driving style he has previously showcased on labels ranging from Odd Recordings to Second State.

Beck And Rius are a German duo making their debut on AnalyticTrail following releases on other imprints such as Terminal M, Phobiq and Gain Records. Their stomping track "Mars Opposition" blends eerie synth textures with heavy percussion and a throbbing bassline.

Jacopo Ghirardi is from Turin, Italy and makes his debut on AnalyticTrail following music signed to The YellowHeads' Reload and Spartaque's IAMT. The sinister melodies and lurching chord changes of the tense pads combine perfectly with thrashing percussion in his track "Habitat".

Black Synth (IT) and Allexandra close out the release with their collaborative track "Remember", which blends an explosive kick drum with rippling acid tones, to deliver a slice of industrial techno with brutal energy. Allexandra is from Germany and she has previously worked with Black Synth (IT) on tracks released by DSR Digital.

Rounding off our debut year, T-Minus draws the curtains on 2020 with Sam WOLFE’s “7AM EP”. Consisting of 2 bass-heavy tracks by the Atlanta based artist and a supercharged remix from mainstay DJ/producer Ramon Tapia, this menacing release is just what you need to heat up those cold winter nights.

The title track “7AM” wastes no time on introductions, as a thunderous kick drum sets the wheels in motion for an ominous ride into the upside down. Becoming more sinister by the second, unhinged percussion and an eerie breakdown keep you poised for the drop you can sense is lingering in the darkness.

Led by it’s infectious melody and rhythm, the B side record “Mind State” adds a fresh dynamic to the EP whilst still packing a punch. Swapping tempo for groove; sweeping drums and percussion keep the track flowing until the distinct vocal leaves you deep inside the matrix, reminiscent of a dark and moody dance floor.

On remix duties is the infallible Ramon Tapia, taking no prisoners with his spin on “Mind State”. Renowned for his fierce productions, forceful kicks and pulsating pads turn this record into a rave weapon. Growing in stature as the track progresses, a piercing string and rolling snares reinforce the electrifying vocal
