The Hungry Pyknic consists of two members. One of us is the singer and the other does the music. Our songs are inspired by many different genres. We like to use unusual time signatures and song formatting while we write and create our sound.

All of our songs are recorded on Cubase Elements 11.

Our goal is to have our songs heard by as many people as possible. With time, we would like a Canadian studio to hear our songs and have them professionally recorded.

Timid Kooky is said to be all about cartoonish celebration of the mundane. The Lithuanian trio  mix alternative and progressive rock, noise and funk, creating a strange yet addictive style. Their songs are little more than chants laid over menacing, and at times hypnotic, riffs that are as fascinating as they are visceral. Queens of The Stone Age and Primus are cited as music influences, and their style also contains echoes of the Beastie Boys’ wackiness and the post-hardcore sonic assault of Rollins Band.

Their musical boldness and independent DIY ethos were met with praise when in 2017 they were named the Best Young Band in Lithuania, as well as the Best New Baltic Band at the NOVUS music contest.

Since the release of their full debut album Tanzen, Timid Kooky managed to travel back and fourth Europe, imprint their name into the Baltics music scene and flirt with international festivals such as MENT Ljubljana (SI), Liverpool Sound City (UK), SKIFF (RU), ENEA Spring Break (PL), Monkey Week (ES) and others.

Epic Down is a duo from Leipzig, Germany dedicated to the sluggish grooves and lumbering riffs of sludge & doom, started in 2021 by Mitzschi (guitar(s)/bass) and Fabian (drums/vocals).
Influenced by primal doom, drone and stoner, the sound of Epic Down is mainly characterized by solid downtempo grooves and rolling walls of guitars, complemented by slightly melancholic vocals.

With the release of their first EP "Equinox Pt1" and it’s sequel "Equinox Pt2" in 2023, the band stepped into the light of publicity.
After signing to Argonauta Records the band was able to celebrate the release of „days of oblivion“ as their debut album in fall 2024.
