All of the elements we know and love are here; pulsating synths, shadowy effects, tense atmospherics and stomping drums.The three closing tracks show Mr. Carassi in top form again, with &#8220;Phorme&#8221; setting the tone with staccato stabs and rumbling subs. &#8220;Globular Cluster&#8221; gives a taste of a dismal, mechanized future, and the closing &#8220;Old Fashioned Lover&#8221; gives a firm nod to the old school with trademarked chords and familiar vocals.</p>

Shelter is our latest release from Clint Stewart and it's a benchmark in the catalog as it's the first time any of our releases have included a remix. And, for that remix, we showed no restraint, commissioning our very own, man of the hour, Stephan Hinz.

As you dive into the first cut off the EP, 'Shelter', you instantly begin to take an excursion into the ethereal. Shimmers of distant audible light flicker in the backdrop as a hypnotic pulse tightens its grip, strapping you in for a trip deep into celestial territory. Long single blasts of deep bass and racing percussion thrust you further into the void until you're far from your point of origin. 'Shelter' is a journey into the vast, ever expanding reaches of impassioned sonics ideal for deeper dance floor antics.

On the flip is 'L714' and much like 'Shelter' it's a cosmic ride, but differs in the fact that it is exceedingly relentless. Eery string like tones and massive low end bursts set the stage for a narcotic, swirling lead that parallels a comet hurtling through the ether. Bits of it falling apart and leaving a visible tail of particles in it's wake creating the ideal flip to 'Shelter'. Where both originals may have left something to be desired for those who want it heavy, Stephan Hinz fills that void. While staying undeniably true to the original 'L714', he adds only what he felt was missing. Taking the original to new heights with colossal drums and tension displayed with the arrangement of a cinematic masterpiece derived from another world. Overall, the 'Shelter Ep' is a complete package, hitting all emotions and leaving nothing to be desired no matter the time or situation.

Following their No.1 hit Tribesmen, which was one of the biggest releases on Hot Creations in 2016, dynamic duo Solardo are back on the label with the mighty Fall Down. Toronto native Carlo Lio and revered DJ and producer MK are also on hand to deliver a solid set of remixes.

Bursting with dancefloor vitality, Fall Down showcases the talented duo at their best, as a pacey ride is enhanced through melodic stabs and tight vocal cuts. Solardo reveal how “things just really flowed and came together for ‘Fall Down’ and we can’t wait to see it finally released.” Following suit, Carlo Lio’s remix is in full throttle with bold builds and trippy FX. On the flip, MK changes gear with a seductive, swinging baseline.

Manchester’s Mark Richards and James Eliot aka Solardo were crowned DJ Mag’s Best Breakthrough Act of 2016, were part of Resident Advisor’s top 100 DJs list and more recently won best breakthrough act in the Ibiza DJ awards. Their critically acclaimed releases can be found on Viva, MTA, Elrow, Hot Creations, Toolroom and Relief Records. Making his first appearance on the label, Carlo Lio is the studio partner of Hot Creations favourite Nathan Barato. Together they created Rawthentic Music, where Carlo has been delivering numerous quality releases. Marc Kinchen aka MK has a discography that spans more than 500 titles over different genres. A chance connection with Jamie Jones and Lee Foss led to his return to dance music. Following the success of his Storm Queen remix, Marc continued with huge tracks like Forward Motion for Hot Natured.
