I Want To Go Home

Retro Synths is a hardware only electronic music composer producing synthwave, retrowave, chillsynth and dreamsynth gems. I use mostly analog gear and no computers or multitracking in production. All tracks and vocals are live recordings. Computers kill the creative vibe for me when making music. Sure my tracks would have less mistakes and I often wish got the levels better or could add some EQ but for now... no computers. I use an RC505 looper and record everything onto a single track with an old Zoom H1 that has no ability to multitrack or edit after the fact. There is no post production or mastering on any of my tracks, what you hear is coming directly from analog hardware. The only exceptions on analog gear include my JupiterX-61, Nord Lead 2X, MicroKorg, and occasional rhythm tracks built into the RC505, everything else is pure analog with some occasional digital effects. All vocals are from my extremely talented children and completely improvised on the spot, nothing is written down. We're just jamming!
