The music industry is a tough one to stay busy in for a long career.  We all know the faces of the stars of radio but there are many amazing songwriters that stay busy without ever becoming mainstream darlings.

Dennis Sy is a perfect example of this type of unknown star.

Originally from the Philippines, the singer and songwriter now makes his home in New Jersey. Through his 25-plus-year career Dennis Sy has seen the inside of Carnegie Hall and also played stages in Atlantic City, Las Vegas and the Mohegan Sun Casino. Moreover Dennis Sy is an award-winning singer, BMI songwriter, and GRAMMY-winning producer.

The influence of his upbringing in Manilla can be heard in the music as well. This unique musical heritage earned Dennis the Outstanding Artist Award from the Filipino American National Historical Society, New York Chapter in 2011. His voice is well known for its ability to move across multiple genres and still remain the focus of the song. Dennis Sy has gained critical acclaim. He has picked up nominations and awards from the Hollywood Music and Media Awards, American Songwriting Awards, and Global Music Awards.

Dennis Sy has been wowing us with his combination of observational genius wit and overwhelming musical prowess for some time now. All of Sy’s music is worth owning and listening to over and over again, as he is an intelligent and nuanced artist whose music actually overrides the zest for sticking to particular genres.

Music: Heavy Progressive, Progressive Metal, Progressive Rock

It took a while for singer-songwriter Pauline Anne to come out of her shell and decide to pursue the dream of performing her music for the world to hear. But once she did, that dream came to fruition in Penny Louis with Michael Christian (Guitars, drums & percussions) in September 2012. With Pauline's poignant story-telling and Michael's incredible ear for arrangement and song structure, the band began catching the attention of fans and fellow musicians alike. Bassist John Morales joined the band right around the time they had recruited violinist May Madarang to lend her melodic styling’s through her string play and included Nikholai Punto (lead guitar) as icing on the cake. Since then, the band has been busy creating a soulful, unique sound that is reminiscent of their legendary inspirations such as Billy Joel, The Beatles and Michael Jackson, but still keeping the eclectic, pop influence of more contemporary artists like John Mayer, Sara Bareilles, Mumfords & Sons, just to name a few.
 
The band has garnered attention for their cover songs and catchy originals at local performances for the community and personal engagements. At the wake of 2014, Penny Louis has started working on their debut album to be released in Fall of 2014 as they move forward to realizing their dream in music. Penny Louis is something truly special; their raw talents that are waiting to be explored, expanded and harnessed to their genuine love and appreciation for music.
