After witnessing the rise of human ego and the collapse of false crowns, the narrator steps away from the noise of kings, temples, and claims of divine authority to reflect on a deeper truth. The song explores the idea that the creator of all things cannot be contained within any form, throne, or title created by human imagination.

Through calm, contemplative verses, the narrator begins to realise that the divine source exists beyond the structures people build to describe it. Light and darkness, often seen as opposing forces, are revealed to come from the same origin. The song suggests that what humanity calls “God” cannot be a ruler seated somewhere in the heavens, because anything that sits on a throne would still be part of creation itself. Instead, the true source is something more subtle, present in the silence behind every breath, every star, and every moment of awareness.

The music mirrors this realisation with a slower, soulful atmosphere built around warm Rhodes chords, deep G-funk bass, and gentle djembe rhythms that feel ancient and grounding. This sonic space allows the listener to pause and reflect, much like the narrator does as he lets go of the need to place the infinite inside human-shaped ideas of power.

By the end of the song, the narrator recognises that the divine is not found through crowns, temples, or authority but in the quiet understanding that all things arise from the same unseen source. This moment of clarity prepares the ground for the next chapter of the album, where the story turns to a real example of human pride being humbled, the story told in “Madness of Kings".
