Retronomes is an Indonesian classical pop band formed in Pemalang, Central Java, 2020. Initially named The Brugboys, the group comprises Fahri Bayu (Vocals & Lead Guitar), Yogi Tabah (Vocals & Bass Guitar), and Fernando Adit (Vocals & Rhythm Guitar).

The band’s story began during the 2020 pandemic when Fahri Bayu reconnected with his old friend Yogi Tabah. With their usual activities curtailed, the two Beatlemaniacs decided to channel their passion for @TheBeatles and 60s music by creating cover songs on YouTube. Before launching their project, Bayu invited his another Beatlemaniac friend Fernando Adit, to join them as the rhythm guitarist and third vocalist. On December 1st, 2020, the trio officially formed a band called THE BRUGBOYS.

After over a year of covering 60s, The Brugboys decided to embark on a new musical journey by writing their own original songs. This shift in focus and commitment to creating original music led to their rebranding as RETRONOMES.
