Quite a dark one really for the ragga twins. we were surprised when they came with the lyrics but it worked so well with the backing track!

you may recognise this from the second series of Ali G in the USA!!! I know, it was mental. it was either to be this tune or the 'Loko' track we did with the twins on the 'beat the system' album, but 'dem no no we' won the race... it paid pretty well too :)

the beat is also quite ahed of its time, compared to the amount of bashy beats you hear these days!

This remix was never released. We were asked to remix this track in our Aquasky Vs. Masterblaster breaks capacity which we certainly did, bringing the filth of course! But while we had the all the parts to the tune we just had to bang out a 174bpm mix! Being that Total Science was doing the offical d&b mix this version never saw the light of day apart from a few dj's we gave copies to for dubplates.

This is quite a rarity from 2002. Remixing classics like this is always risky and many times I have been disapointed when old school records are remixed but the feedback from Hyper On Experience (as well as Omni Trio when we remixed 'Renegade Snares',also in 2002) was positive and thats the main thing. To impress the original artist is what its all about. Both those tracks are 2 of the biggest anthems in the old school Shadow catalogue and we were very lucky to have been able to remix them.
