Although only in its infancy, Discothèque Tropicale has quickly gained support from the likes of Antal, Hunee, Mendel, Barbara Boeing, Poly Ritmo and Dar Disku to name a few. 

The collective, London based events series, and licensed reissue label’s first project is focussed on highlighting the sounds of Guadeloupe and the Southern French Antilles. In doing so they hope to champion and honour the talented artists that birthed this beautiful music.

Hi, my name is Jose Gouveia aka DJ ZeeK, born in Angola-Africa,
raised in Setubal-Portugal and I currently reside in Worcester-United Kingdom for 20+ years now.

...as a multi-genre DJ, been DJing for 30+ years (early start at tender age of 13, when I got my first residency !!!), on and off between a multitude of genres and places, both in Portugal and the U.K.

André Cayolla, popularmente conhecido por Dj Cayolla entrou no mundo da Kizomba em 2017 através das suas aulas de Kizomba e Semba no Porto, a sua cidade natal, apaixonou-se imediatamente pela música africana.
Auto-didata começou a treinar e desde então a sua carreira disparou.
Dedicou-se ao estudo de diferentes estilos musicais e suas culturas, com enfoque nos de ritmos Palop/Afro-Caribenhos.
Dj Cayolla é um peixe na água tanto como Deejay de ritmos africanos como dançarino de Kizomba e Semba, trabalhando lado a lado com grandes Deejays, dançarinos e artistas no mundo dos festivais de Kizomba pela Europa.
Vai com mais de 200 eventos internacionais, colaborou com vários cantores de grande referência, como Eduardo Paim, Johny Ramos, Jojo Gouveia, Mica Mendes, Ivan Alekxey, Konde Martins.
Dj Cayolla gosta de criar uma experiência emocional no seu público ao tocar músicas que eles não conhecem.

André Cayolla, popularly known as DJ Cayolla, dove into the world of Kizomba in 2017 through his Kizomba and Semba classes in Porto, his hometown. Instantly captivated by African music, this self-taught artist dedicated himself to relentless practice—and his career skyrocketed.  

A student of sound and culture, he immersed himself in Palop and Afro-Caribbean rhythms, mastering their DNA. Today, DJ Cayolla moves like a fish in water: equally at home spinning African beats as he is dancing Kizomba and Semba, sharing stages with top-tier DJs, dancers, and artists across Europe’s festival circuit.  

With over 200 international events under his belt, he’s collaborated with icons like Eduardo Paim, Johny Ramos, Jojo Gouveia, Mica Mendes, Ivan Alekxey, and Konde Martins. But his true signature? Crafting emotional journeys through lesser-known tracks—blending sensitivity, musicality, and what friends call “a white man with an African soul.”
