Wow, 10 Litterboxes deep and we are still going strong! 

Through the previous 9 compilations we have been able to bring 131 new, spicy tracks directly to your ears. That’s a crazy number! One thing we really love about the Litterbox compilation is bringing so many artists with different followings all into one place, sharing their audiences with each other and helping to grow and expand their fan bases. Cause at the end of the day we’re all one, and we love to see each other succeed!

This Litterbox is no different to the last, except for some talented new faces bringing the fresh heat. We have BOC favourites like Pass The 40 making a comeback, Cave Studio making their first appearance on the label, as well as Ratman & Bobbin who have been on our radar for some time. This is really just the surface of what Litterbox X has to offer, and you really need to dive deep in to get the full experience. 

The Litterbox has always been a baby of ours that we cherish and hold close. Some of our biggest and most memorable tracks come from these packs, so do yourself a favour and don’t push skip ;)

Returning to Toolroom Trax are two label heavyweights Jewel Kid and Matt Smallwood with brand new collaboration ‘I Get Down’. Since Jewel Kid’s resurgence last year, he has been writing hit after hit with releases on Sink Or Swim, D-Vine Sounds, Glasgow Underground and of course Toolroom. Alongside Jewel Kid, it’s exciting to welcome onto the release Toolroom’s very own senior A&R Matt Smallwood, a key figure in the underground dance scene for many years.

Matt Smallwood’s expertise as an A&R, DJ and Producer has allowed him to consistently stay ahead of the curve, and his track record of signings and releases speaks for itself. Together, the two artists bring years of experience and a unique blend of production styles resulting in a powerful and infectious club weapon that is ‘I Get Down’.

The once mysterious but now ‘unmasked’ house duo ‘Wh0’ return to Toolroom with a rip-roaring club banger! Since the inception of the Wh0 brand back in 2018, they have been on an upward journey and their discography reads like a who’s-who of dance music. Remixing for the likes of The Prodigy, Basement Jaxx, Calvin Harris and Meduza whilst collaborating with Armand van Helden, Nile Rodgers and David Guetta under his Jack Back alias. They have racked up over 70m streams in the past 12 months alone and are firm-favourites at all major radio stations where they see regular support!

This track is a heads down, no-nonsense, tongue-in-cheek club weapon! Seriously powerful drums, a playful acid line and a very cheeky vocal that will cause a stir on many a dance floor!

Toolroom’s very own Mark Knight continues his impressive string of collaborations here as Darius Syrossian appears alongside him for the first time on the label, and it’s safe to say we are very excited about this one! Darius is a long-standing respected figure on the underground house circuit, with a career spanning 2 decades, 2 Grammy nominations, Ibiza residencies galore and an army of ‘Moxy’ faithful’s that follow him to every club and festival he plays at.

Mark and Darius, along with studio maestro James Hurr, stumbled on this classic ‘Lets All Chant’ sample and together proceeded to write a peak-time, tech house slammer around it. Expect relentless energy here, lush vocal licks and that familiar 90’s sample – Definitely one to keep those dance floors rocking as we head towards the summer months!

Shaking things up on Toolroom Trax are the energetic house duo’s of Folkness and Trimtone with a disco/house track. Fun and funky, ‘Hallelujah’ is a staple for house music lovers.

Folkness have previously joined forces with some of the leaders within House, Disco and Jackin House such as label favourites Wh0, Hatiras and The Cube Guys who continue to elevate their feel good, anthemic house music. With deep roots in dance since launching their brand ‘Love To Be’ in the 90’s, the masterminds behind the event and record label Trimtone have thrown parties across the world and won accolades such as Mixmag’s ‘Club Night of the Year’ which solidifies Trimtone’s position in house music.

Featuring the incredible voice of Alexis Victoria Hall who takes us to church with her gospel inspired vocals, ‘Hallelujah’ is a guaranteed crowd pleaser to shake things up on the dancefloor.
