Dutch crate-digger Fedya Hella is launching a new label Hella Trax that will deal in club-ready electronic sounds designed to inspire and bring the community together. First up is his sweat-inducing 'Taking it Back' which comes on August 15th and has already had support from DC Salas, JASSS, Bolam and Heidi Lawden who played it in Panorama Bar.

Fedya Hella, real name Stan Verhoeven, has a well-deserved reputation for digging deep and unearthing tracks from the worlds of house and classic tech, often with a psychedelic and trance-inducing twist. He plays them across the country as well as regularly appearing with his tasteful selections on stations like Radio Radio FM and Radio TNP. Verhoeven also heads up the Bloom event series in his hometown of Tilburg as well as in Multipla in Amsterdam, a cult venue known for its forward-thinking programming and where he has hosted guests including Fafi Abdel Nour, Luna Ludmila, and Children of Valis.

Now he ventures out once more with Hella Trax which, he says, is "a creative outlet where I can present my work and also offers the space to collaborate with artists who share the same vision." The first release 'Taking It Back' is a thumping house cut with full-bodied drums and bass. The fulsome groove is subtly coloured with cosmic synths that twist and turn between the straight-up kicks. The intensity grows with the arrival of dusty hi-hats, distant vocal coos and deeply buried rave whistles that all serve to get the dance floor bumping and fists pumping as this passionate sound unfolds.

'Taking It Back' is a timeless track that gets Hella Trax underway in style.

Fresh on DISCHI is Maruwa and Younger than Me’s Prometeo. Both based in Germany, respectively in Frankfurt and Berlin, the two exciting DJs and producers join their creative forces on this short but mighty three-tracker. Lovers of prog-house, trance and 90s sounds, Maruwa and Younger Than Me deploy their vast array of influences with this dancefloor-oriented project.
Prometeo is a classic ravey, prog-house tune, masterfully layering element after element to keep you wondering what’s coming next. So Cool kicks it up a notch, bringing in hard-hitting kicks, a bouncy bassline, and a magnetic voice sample. On Return of the Reptilian, the producers take the listeners to more technoid realms, working entrancing repetitive loops that immediately get you in the zone, and on your feet. Two powerhouses add their distinctive sound to the remixes. Australian DJ and label head Mabel twists Prometeo with her signature sassy bass sound, adding a new sultry, almost hypnotic dimension to the track. Finishing of the project is  DJ Babatr, king of Raptor House and legend of the Venezuelan scene who injects his mastery into So Cool, with a fierce, trance-inducing rework.
