Formed in the summer of 2012, http://soundcloud.com/velcroofficial - Velcro is the collaboration of two LA-based DJs Littlefoot and the Sweet Leech. As predictable it may be, the two met at a nightclub but the result was just the opposite. They quickly found their sound over a matter of steady studio sessions within the course of just a few weeks, which is best described as a twist on deep house and nu-wave bass music. While both producers have performed from coast to coast on their own, they both hold a common motive when placed in the booth together; to bring some soul back into the world of modern house music. Currently spending all their time locked into the studio, Velcro can be found working on an endless stream of original EPs, remixes for local friends, and throwback edits. Stay tuned!

On the heels of our "American Hustle" EP - we are back with our boys Jaceo & Vedic - this time on Bitten Records with our "313 (Detroit Calling)" EP.  Named after the city's area code - lyrically the track is an homage to the city's resilience in the face of constant hardships - to give birth to a musical genre and movement that has touched the lives of millions around the world. 

The flip side - "212" is not actually named after New York City's dialing code as one might suspect - but is rather the temperature (in fahrenheit) that water turns from a liquid into a gas (pretty fucking hot).  The words - courtesy of the one and only Ray Winstone - from the incredible film "Sexy Beast" - underscore that hot feeling we've all experienced in our favorite neighborhood 'sweat on the walls' nightclub. Ok so maybe it wasn't 212 fahrenheit in the club - but you get the point!
