01 - Opening

Here's my modest take on Camel's "Rain Dances", off their 1977 album of the same name. I used this as an occasion to try my new pedalboard setup, as it underwent some changes at the beginning of the year and has never been used for recording until now.

I usually cover Camel pieces mostly for their beautiful guitar parts, but here the original mainly features Mel Collins' saxophone and Pete Bardens' lush string machine. A wonderful combo !

Remets En Une Couche - 091

Ceci est un jeu, créer une musique en coopération et dans un intervalle de temps restreint, afin de garder un côté improvisé, inattendu et sans préparation.
Un des participants poste une boucle mélodique en signalant son tempo (7s ~ 15s).
Les autres participants partent alors de cette boucle pour y ajouter chacun une ou plusieurs couche(s), qu’ils postent à leur tour.
Une fois tous en possession d’une dizaine de couches, chacun fait un petit arrangement personnel (1 minute) de ces couches qu’il poste ensuite.
Les arrangement postés, vient alors le montage final, qui agrémentera cet espace.
Voilà.
