It's that time of the month again. Podcast time! Having surfed the huge waves of DIYNAMIC's rise to fame in the recent years, the Swiss duo of Adriatique made name for themselves trough always being consistent, while at the same time never becoming boring. Slowly making their way from the more poppy side of deep house to the more melancholic side that labels like Innervisions and Life and Death populate, it's exciting to hear what Adrian and Adrian manage to serve up. That's why we're really happy to have them on board for this month's SEKOIA Podcast.

So many beautiful experiences I have been through the last couple of weeks. From a beautiful gig in Lake Tahoe, to other crazy ones in LA, NY, San Diego and Austin. And then last week I had the privilege to play at the AfrikaBurn. A festival about 5 hours drive from Cape Town. I did two shows there. A sunset one and a pre-burn one. Both beautiful on its own. And when you hear the crowd scream: 'one more song, one more song' knowing that I already played 2 'more' songs....yes, then you know that they like what you do. That having said: I love bringing joy and happiness in your lives so the feeling is mutual! So straight from the heart another Deep & Sexy podcast for you guys. Der Münchner Alex hatte ein lange Zeit meine Lieblingspodcast Reihe Schatzkiste gehostet. Über ihn bin ich zu so einige Künstlern gekommen, die ich sonst nicht so schnell oder überhaupt nicht gefunden hätte. Nachdem er sich von soundcloud verabschiedet hatte, sind wir aber dann doch noch in Kontakt geblieben. Bei unserem letzten Telefonat hab ich mal so gefragt … “wie siehts aus, magst mal einen Podcast für mich Machen?” und schwubs am nächsten Tag hatte ich dieses experimentell Dub-Techno Set im Posteingang liegen. 

Seit ca. 20 Jahren sammelt Alex nun schon das schwarze Gold und hat sein Mixing mehr als perfektioniert. Danke Alex für dieses besondere Set und schön das uns die Musik zusammegeführt hat.

Mir ist BADRE 2015 durch sein “deep orient” Set aufgefallen,  genau durch diese verschiedenen gewürzartigen Geschmäcker. Dazwischen findet man dann aber auch einfach mal wieder ein Detroid Set in seiner Set-Sammlung … Abwechslung ist bei BADRE immer garantiert. 

BADRE vielen Dank für diese wunderbaren 1,5 Stunden und meinen lieben Zuhörern wünsche ich nun viel Spaß bei diesem Ohrenschmaus.

Revelation of Sound is happy to present the next guest Chrystal Chris, very talented DJ from Germany and close friends call her Chrissy. She has always been an enthusiastic ‚groupie' of DJs who play music that touches her heart and soul. She has been full of admiration and fascination for their talents to tell musical stories that connect the party people and let them become one unity. She dreamed of being a DJ herself one day but she never believed in it and was too scared to stand on stage and perform….Then, two years ago some great friends around her encouraged her to realize her dreams and so her own DJ story began…
With her sets and gigs she has found a medium to express her deepest feelings and share them with others. She loves deep, spheric and melancholic tunes. If you know Chrissy personally, you will know about her love for Max Cooper’s sound. She could talk about his versatile creations the whole day and has been influenced a lot by his compositions, live shows and DJ gigs.
As she loves traveling and changing her places of residence, she already has played in various countries like the UK, Ecuador, Egypt and her current residential country Germany. At the moment she is really excited about her first gigs in Berlin!
