Garpo:

Árpád Gergácz aka Garpo, born in 1979 in Göd, Hungary, is one of the most significant characters of the dub techno scene in Hungary.

He began playing drums in his teenage years. His first encounters with electronic music were in the mid 90s, bought his first vinyl in 1998, started mixing and in 2003 he already had his own radio show on the most respected Hungarian underground music station called Tilos Radio.

His musical taste drove him towards dub techno and techno and stayed with 4/4 beats all along his carrier. In addition to his frequent appearences in the club scene of Budapest, he is also an active organiser of open-air underground parties.

Garpo currently continues to express his dedication and passion to techno music in Budapest. You can find him playing in radio stations as well as parties in different clubs throughout the country.

Born in 1997, Matteo Vitanza is a techno DJ & producer from Rome, Italy. From a young age he starts to discover electronic music with great curiosity and, completely self-made, he began to produce Techno music. In the last years, he released several techno tunes on important labels like IAMT, Legend, and Say What?, also supported by top DJs like Umek, Cosmic Boys, Luigi Madonna, Mark Antonio, Paco Osuna, T78, Ramon Tapia, and many more. Since 2018 he has regularly played in important clubs and festivals.

For the very first time, we travel to the Austrian capital to welcome on board the one and only Xenia Nanou a.k.a. POLYXENE (@xenianogravity). A Greek artist based in Vienna who started out in the music universe as a sound engineer and soon became a thorough digger in her early years, was part of the platform @femdex, has her own monthly show on Movement Radio, and, all in all, has paved her way in the electronic scene evolving into one of the best electro DJ’s in this day and age. Her sets are a powerful blend of electro, IDM, and breaks skilfully combined which might escalate into acid or even techno making dancers go completely crazy. And this podcast is no exception. Enjoy it!

The series is a collection of seven releases inspired by the following films created in the 20th century: THX 1138, 2001 A Space Odyssey, Blade Runner, The Thing, Akira, Terminator and Tron. 
You will listen interpretations inspired by movies: THX 1138 (by Transpac) and Blade Runner (by Scape One). This is our tribute as well to the talented Greek electronic music artist - Vangelis (RIP), who has written music for Blade Runner movie. Cobahn (@cobahn) is a Korean DJ, and started her musical journey as part of Seoul’s deep spiritual techno scene. She currently resides in Amsterdam, where she continues to explore and expand her musical horizons. Her music is influenced by Oriental philosophies and awe-inspiring mother nature, and combines deep and experimental styles, which she blends into an authentic soundscape. She is focusing on all kind of deep music filled with organic, hypnotic and avant-garde touches.

The Croatia-born, Berlin-based artist has spent the last 13 years exploring his creative expression within the electronic music world. Artist bio:   
We have already read that his music was dark and cold. She is also beautiful and subtle. Over the years, the french producer Clarence Rise has developed a strong musical identity, always gaining in intensity and singularity, where sharp techno meets icy atmospheres of coldwave.

 Author of multiple EP on various labels (Bella Ursa Records, Chez KitoKat Records, DNC Limited, or his own label: Freestate Records), this DJ and Live musician make his shows into real trips, as dynamic as introspective. And his inspiration follows the same path: the self-introspection and the return to nature. The forest is its incubator of ideas, far from the noise of civilization.

Revelation of Sound is pleased to present Zemög. Over the years, Zemög kept the sound while adding personal field recordings, modular personality and experimentation, eventually cultivating a blend of intuitive design with technical value. His musical progression allowed him to get closer to unknown sonorous passages, offering him his main artistic and spiritual inspiration.

He is a sonic explorer and vinyl collector who is known to constantly push the threshold when it comes to sound design and tone manipulation. He has been an active DJ since 2012 with residency in several clubs in his hometown Pereira and has played with several well known international artists. As composer he made his officially debut in 2019 on From a Lost Place label with ‘Vuoto EP’, followed by releases on Ordinamento Selettivo, Circular Limited, the italian label Different Exhibition where he was remixed by Claudio PRC, and his last production focused on ambient in Huinali. Also have worked on other VA colaborations and remixes around the globe.

His project is deeply inspired by mountain ecosystems and indigenous cultural and musical environments composing Ambient, Deep Techno, Tribal and Dub taking as a sound source modular synthesis, field recordings and aboriginal meditation instruments. His mixes and original work very often shows organic minimalism, tribalism and deep environments representing the beauty of meditation and mental expansion.

He is also co-founder and visual artist of Matteria, a collective that makes electronic music events in Pereira, Colombia.

Revelation Session # 214/ Zemög (CO)

Revelation Of Sound was created in January, 2016 as the music channel for quality underground music community with an ultimate goal to set high musical and performance standards together with an open minded, non judgmental social experience. 
After three successful years of publishing mixes from talented DJs and producers from around the world the evolution process brought Revelation Of Sound to the point to become a record label.  
Starting January, 2019 Revelation Of Sound is now the platform for releasing forward thinking experimental electronic music with the strong focus on the techno sounds by its founder WINDAND C and his like-minded friends.
