"Sequence Breaker is my personal love letter to the Metroid series, encapsulating the wonderment inspired by the striking beauty of the games' environments and introspective storytelling.  The soundscapes in each track were chosen-- and often created from scratch-- to heavily emulate the music from Metroid Prime, my favorite game in the series, while keeping each piece unique to me as a composer.  Every melody, chord progression, and percussive hit was crafted with a deep love, and I truly hope you enjoy this impassioned tribute to an amazing series as much as I enjoyed creating it! 

Each original composition was inspired by specific pieces, moments, environments, or characters in the Metroid series.  Some are fairly overt, others less so.  Since creating a consistent and enveloping atmosphere is so crucial to the series' emotional conveyance, each track was designed with the same sense of sentient world-building.  My goal was to enable the listener to create their own narrative as the album progresses, walking through familiar worlds or exploring new ones in their mind's eye. 

Above all else, this release is a gift to Metroid fans everywhere, including myself.  Please enjoy the first installment of what will assuredly be an ongoing project, with many more releases in the future!"

Crypt of the NecroDancer: MEGAMIXED is a remix (or remash) album dedicated to the amazing producers of the Crypt of the NecroDancer Soundtrack! 

Each and every song of COTND (well, except for some bosses and Amplified) has been carefully remixed and remastered by 6 music artists or groups: A_Rival, FamilyJules7x, Virt, Chipzel, Girlfriend Records, and Overclocked Records: each with their own individual styles and genres. 

Crypt of the NecroDancer: MEGAMIXED combines all 7 soundtracks of the game into one seamless piece of music by playing each remix at specific times. For example, Virt and Chipzel both use a chiptune approach to the soundtrack, so they will appear together very often.

Howdy! My name is Rever Man. I'm a French Canadian who enjoys music in every way possible (listening, playing and making). I use FL Studio to make music. I particularly excel in the (Micro) Sampling genre, a unique genre that has roots in Electronic music. Basically, I take sounds from various sources such as Operating Systems sounds or Video Games SFX and then make a full musical piece using only those sounds. The challenge about this genre is that I have a very limited set of sounds and I have to deal with it. I usually use Windows OS sounds but if you request me, I can practically work with any sources. Finally, I like playing Minecraft or other PC games, Sciences, Graphic Design, and Computer.

My songs are free to use, but I have two conditions:
1-You ask me and send the link to the video or anything using the song;
2-You put my name and my Soundcloud link in the description.
