One of those artists, Steve Spiffler, is a California native whos music has roots in an eclectic mix of regional Hip-Hop & soul music of yesteryear. Never one to box himself in, the rapper would rather have the music speak for itself than try and explain why he's worth listening to. 

Hailing from Stockton, CA, the multi-talented Hip-Hop artist encapsulates the independent artist of the internet age. Not only does he pen his own rhymes, but he produces, engineers and even shoots his own videos. Being the best is his goal and he views his contemporaries merely as competition that he needs to stay one step ahead of. His first mixtape "American Fly" was a great introduction to a growing artist who's gears never stop grinding.
