IRONSIDE Live Set - 2024

This episode was mixed by SELDON to celebrate the 2nd Bday of the "Deep Down the Rabbit Hole" series. Seldon was born in 1978 in Budapest, Hungary. As he was surrounded by music from the early age, it determined his addiction to sound. He met the real techno sounds in the mid 90s at the roots of the Hungarian underground (FMK, Faklya, Patex etc). He started DJing also in this period. Seldon created the "Budapest in the Dark" project in 2011 to introduce dark minimal and psy/techno fusion to the local scene. His complex sounds are built from techno and minimal spiced up with psychedelia. He is an active and forward thinking member of the European minimal music community and he is also building strong links with Latin-America and Mexico. In the 2020s he joined the Darth Frog Collective to deliver the Zenonesque and psytech sounds to Hungarian scene.

This Zenon episode features an all original production set from ANORMIC. Anormic's sound can be described as an exciting journey through many different feelings and mindsets. He uses a huge variety of textures and sound characters and combines super artificial sound design with real instruments and recordings to create his surreal concept. Always changing and still grounded by deep, hypnotic basslines. His passion as a sound designer and drummer gives the music it́s unique sound and rhythm. Unusual time signatures and polyrhythms on a subliminal level, give his music a real individual and interesting character.

SYNAESTHESIA .03 (Biomass Mix)

Biomass is the psychedelic techno project of Melbourne based producer Finn Rhodes. The deep, brooding themes that define his progressive trance project, Ambler, are here explored in a slower, more spacious style. Biomass inhabits the grey areas between psychedelic and progressive, gruelling and groovy, daytime and nighttime. This mix showcases his debut EP, Grey Areas, along with a cohort of more recent and unreleased tunes including collaborations with Axon and Techgnosis label boss Ben Rama. Enjoy.
