Hardstyle Classics in the Mix // Back in Time Vol.14 - The Early Times 

This mix contains the REAL early hardstyle stuff from 2002 - 2006. 

Hardstyle in its early days was significantly different than today's modern hardstyle. The music back then was much more minimalistic and basic than it is today. There were only gated kicks and reverse bass and the melodies mostly consisted of only a few tones. In general, the atmosphere was completely different and the focus was clearly on hypnotic dancing, which can be heard in the (compared to today) long kickparts.
