@XDB, the founder of the Metrolux music label, is one of Germany’s most respected DJs. Kosta Athanassiadis is a long-standing institution as a Dj and Producer with a significant collection of timeless productions and memorable remixes. 

XDB has his roots in the central German town of Göttingen. It was there that he began DJing in the early nineties, where he worked in a record shop and where he ran a radio show for five years. And that was the base from which he established the Metrolux record label back in 2006.

For many people, it was at this point that XDB appeared on their radar. His debut ‘Jackintosh EP’ and the following ‘Descap EP’ made a splash. Kosta’s DJ sets draw upon his expansive record collection, playing right across the board of electronic music. His DJing keeps him in the public eye, but one gets the sense that XDB prefers to operate in the shadows.

@revoltathens was brought to life in 2013 with the purpose to satisfy people’s craving for immersive experiences with electronic music and other forms of art.

In 2014, the crew started a record label and six years later, took a big step forward and opened a hybrid-record shop with new and second-hand records. This space is meant to be used in the most creative yet practical way, to showcase artists and their talent, organize live shows and small exhibitions.

Jaymod ‘s genuinely inspired musical style has granted him recognition among the dance community and earned him numerous dj gigs in various venues; from dingy illegal warehouses to beach parties, outdoor festivals and clubs, such as the legendary Batofar in Paris and Tresor in Berlin, among many underground venues in his motherland Greece. By constantly blending elements and loops, he clearly focuses in managing his full creativity and experience to score a powerful interaction with an up-for-it crowd.

Meibe is an electronic music producer and DJ from Giannitsa, Greece. He was born in 1998 - his real name is Yorgos Chatziparasidis. His first point of contact with electronic music was in 2015 when he had been attracted and affected by the underground scene in UK, Germany and Romania. He is producing music since 2018 while he is developing a unique sound, which is influenced by oldschool Breaks, Electro and Techno music.

SILVЯ. (Argyro Giannakidi) is a DJ / Architect currently based in Greece. While studying architecture, SILVЯ. had the opportunity to experiment with the notion of sound and space, conceiving new ideas and developing innovative techniques that would later help her build her artistic persona. Hyper, fast-paced, fluid, raw and at times Balearic, every set of SILVЯ. is a culmination of her identity and aesthetic. In her role as a DJ, all she strives to do is deliver a well-crafted musical experience that generates a positive oriented dance floor, allowing everyone to express themselves freely.

Bucharest-born explorer and creator of feminine energy, Alexandra is a 90s kid, a passionate digger and music enthusiast. Her belief in the liberating and purifying power of music has guided her along the way. Freedom, emotions and boundless curiosity is the most accurate description of her show, Ears Wide Open at Black Rhino Radio. Alexandra is the co-owner of the Berlin established electronic music label Melliflow, alongside German artist Vera. As part of The Apricots project with her husband DJ Slim Fit, Alexandra delves into ambient, experimental, the slower beats realm and dancefloor oriented rhythms, by producing music and playing back2back.

Dimitris Anagnostou, born in Thessaloniki, grew up surrounded by the flourishing urban subcultures of the city. Hip Hop, graffiti, the breakbeat and electro sounds of the b-boys, later on diy parties and clubbing. His fascination with sound was ignited during his teenage years, leading him to explore production and record digging, shaping a distinctive sound signature through experimentation with various aesthetics.   His sets defy categorisation, offering a diverse palette that resonates with the specific time and space of his performances. Similarly, his music spans a broad aesthetic context, cultivating a continually evolving personal style. Over the years, Dimitris has released music on numerous labels and under various monikers. His most recent work includes a contribution to AFFIX Records’ second VA installment, showcasing his versatility and gaining recognition from highly respected international figures.
