Mike Sea is a hard techno DJ and producer based in Bilbao, known for blending raw industrial power with emotionally resonant melodies. His musical journey began at the age of 14 under the alias Mikel Quilez, producing progressive house tracks that amassed millions of streams and ghost-producing for other artists. But a creative reset and a life-changing night at a techno club completely reshaped his direction.
Since then, he has been shaping a unique sonic identity—dark, melodic, and relentlessly energetic, drawing from schranz and old-school influences. His hard techno debut Lazer Beams, released on the Irish label 712, gained strong support from the scene, including plays by DIØN. He later collaborated with German artist OGTS on Xenith Records and co-founded the label Versity with KËNGAN, where he’s been crafting and releasing his latest works.
His tracks have been played by key names like Basswell, 6EJOU, DIØN, Daniella Da Silva, Lee Ann Roberts and MICH, and his first international performance took place at Versity’s event in Macbar (Lyon), where he showcased his signature sound to a larger crowd for the first time.
Now, Mike Sea is preparing to release his next EP in 2025 through Versity: a mix of high-tempo schranz, emotional melodies, and driving percussion. While production has been a cornerstone of his career, it's behind the decks where his sound truly comes to life. His mission is simple—deliver high-impact sets that resonate and connect with the crowd on a deeper level.
