2G Ali was born in Greenville, NC.  At the age of 3 years, he moved to Jacksonville, Fl, where he was raised.  In the 3rd grade, 2G Ali found he had a niche for writing.  In the fourth grade, it was confirmed by his teacher, that he should be a writer when he grew up.  He didn’t think much of it, but always continued to write.  Living in Jacksonville, Fl, the different genres of music influenced his versatility in music.  Reggae is one of those genres.  Reggae artists that influenced 2G Ali are Sizzla, Buju Banton, Queen Omega, Dawn Penn, and Beres Hammond to name a few.  Oldies, Blues, Country, Old School Hip Hop, and more also were an influence.  2G Ali is working on a few projects that will be released in the near future, for example, videos and live performances.  2G Ali is ready to “get dis work”, which is one of his many mottos, and is ready to bring his supporters along for the ride.

Reverend is a Florida-based Hip-Hop artist. Writing music for over 10 years, Rev continues to explore his thoughts and perspectives through his music. His song topics include social injustices, love, nerdisms, self-analysis, and personal growth. His influences range from Lupe Fiasco and Common to Cassidy and Big Pun.
