This week Tim was at the HTB/Alpha leadership conference in London, UK. He heard encouraging story after story of young people coming to faith in dramatic ways – they call it the quiet revival. One huge man, a former violent drug dealer with hoops implanted in his ear lobes and a bolt through his nose spoke about how he encountered Jesus - his life changed immediately.  
But for most of us, our transformation in Christ is more of a slow burn. And that’s what Tim talks about today.

Alan speaks from Ezekiel 37: 1-14 and addresses spiritual complacency in the church. It is only openness to the Spirit who makes us alive to Jesus. The 'good' thief dying on the cross next to Jesus recognised his truth, but could not physically do anything or give him anything - he could only ask for salvation. Jesus accepted him. Sheer grace is all we have.

•	Some flatly ignored him
•	There were those who loved him, stuck by him, but ran away when things got tough
•	There were those who embraced Jesus, but became easily distracted by other things and melted away
Jesus demands that we make a decision about him.
