A stream of consciousness set. Minimal setlist planning and just going with the flow - trying to embody how I feel about Summer 2023 so far. I love making these mixes. Challenged myself to use my turntable set up for this one. Lastly, did this in 1 take.. PHEW! As a member of The FeelGood Collective and co-founder of In The Loop, DXTR. has played an essential role in building a community for music lovers throughout California. DXTR. has no limit in creativity when it comes to mixing music with genres ranging from RnB, Hip Hop, Future Beats, and House. DXTR.’s sound has led him to DJ alongside his inspirations such as Miles Medina, Jael, Jared Jackson, JRobb, Full Crate and more.

My second time spinning at one of the coolest bars in Downtown San Jose... SP2!!

Super grateful for Dom, Link and Justin for Hosting me! SP2 Staff is so awesome man
Appreciate the vibes from Rieta, Katjabba and of course the big bro Esentrik! 

I was told to "keep it sexy" haha (for Valentines of course!)
Went a good amount of Amapiano and Future beats for the first 1 min 45 then a special Miami Bass treat from me the last 15 minutes! 

And yes, there are no Esentrik Edits in this mix! 
(since I'm opening for the king of edits aha but no worries!)

Not gonna lie this is my second time using an S11!

Side note: DJ Question for ya'll! - Do you feel like 1/2 beat echo sounds better than a 1 beat echo on the S11??? I feel like I like 1/2 beat way more. Whenever I used 1 beat it felt like the echo was dragging haha. I also still don't know how I feel about going from 25% vs 50% reverb! does it sound too strong? haha let me know! 

But otherwise was super dope and I'm grateful for the opportunity! Was able to meet some of the San Jose DJs I look up to and play their edits! Double A & Trixamill! 

Excited to keep spinning in the South Bay more as the opportunities present themselves!
