MANIK makes his full Anjunadeep debut with “Far Away / Mulberry”, following remixes for Beckwith and Jody Wisternoff. EPs with Black Butter, Ovum and Moda Black over the past 12 months have accelerated the New Yorker’s rise into house music’s A-list.

Featuring the ethereal vocals of Eli & Fur, “Far Away” combines tough driving percussion with dark, atmospheric low end. Keeping melodic subtlety in such a dancefloor focused track is no easy feat, but MANIK pulls it off in style. A real peak-time weapon in the right hands.

“Mulberry” is a bouncier affair, built around rising bass notes and crisp shuffling drums, once again wound together by atmospheric textures and an infectious melodic groove.

MANIK - Mulberry

Emanuel Satie returns once again with his energetic brand of house music for his third EP on Get Physical following last years ‘Gold EP’ and ‘Private Show EP’ earlier this year. The three-track EP titled ‘Free At Last’ showcases the young Germans talent for groove. Leading the EP, ‘Free’ relies on deep acid-y lines supported by itchy percussion. He’s draped a dramatic vocal over the top to give it a special organic and house-y touch. ‘Bottoms Up’ rides the energy wave further utilizing chopped and looped vocals to great effect. Underneath that we find a smooth sub bass line flexing its muscles beautifully. Finally ‘On Repeat’ bears a wildly organic and almost jungle vibe that is sure tokeep even the most challenging of dance floors at fever pitch. The almost tribal percussions temporarily give way soft and enchanting chords before letting the rhythm back in. All in all another striking EP from Emanuel Satie, proving he’s a special talent and one to watch.

With previous releases on Berlin's Watergate label, La Fleur’s music and energy was a perfect fit for us here at LNOE and we can’t wait to share it with you all.
