The fifth release on our freshly rebranded Silk Music imprint is a collaborative EP between two of our most accomplished artists: LTN and Vintage & Morelli. The former continues his relentless assault on dance music playlists worldwide, courtesy of his superlative monthly contributions to house, progressive, and trance. The latter is an equally versatile musician, who is also at the pinnacle of his craft, thanks to a variety of breathtaking trance and progressive releases since last autumn.

The lead track on the EP is "Us", which was initially previewed on LTN & Probity's "Arrival 02: Destination Indonesia" compilation. The track jets out of the gate with a furious bassline; soon thereafter, it introduces a cosmic lead theme, which is suspensefully teased via a variety of side piano melodies. In the main break, celestial pads unite with the gorgeous piano theme and anthemic chords.

The B-side, "Forbidden Fruits", finds the dynamic Indonesian and Serbian duo in familiar territory: a lush, chilled progressive house classic-in-the-making. A hypnotic vocal stutter punctuates a melodically blissful soundscape, which includes a variety of fluttering synths, a repeating 1/8 note chord progression, and, of course, an unforgettable piano theme. Kick back and enjoy the soulful and relaxing vibes of this one.

It’s great to be getting behind one of the Black Hole Recordings crew who help us distribute our music, but Kris O’Neil is emerging as one-to-be-watch in the progressive house / progressive trance scene in his own right. ‘Saga’ fuses throbbing bass & hypnotic stabs with some glorious Wakeman-esque analogue brass tones creating a tight groove that pushes forward relentlessly.

If we were ever to set an Avanti all-star team, picking the artists from one of our best performing releases and give it the remix treatment by one of our busiest producers in collaboration with the labelmanager would probably be a pretty good place to start - and we did just that! Rolo Green & Kolonie’s 2018 groover “Deeper” sees a 2019 remix by Flynthe & Kris O’Neil, turning up the dirty-disco-knob a few nudges, while still paying great respect to the original. This one has gotten quite a few feet tapping at the Avanti HQ, and there’s a fair chance yours will as well!

Debuted on Markus Schulz’s opening episode of the Global DJ Broadcast Ibiza Summer Sessions season, Bella Monaco immediately became the talk of the trance community; simply because of its exemplification of the beauty we regard to summertime. Perfect for those early moments in a liveset, or for simply cruising along in your car, Bella Monaco has had quite a cast list of support, with not only Markus declaring it as the official GDJB 2012 summer anthem, but multiple plays from Armin van Buuren on A State of Trance, and Ferry Corsten on Corsten’s Countdown.

Boy Hagemann started producing music on his computer while his friends practiced in local rock bands. He was fascinated about the sounds that could be created using just a computer, He sometimes skipped college to have fun with his music. After some time a friend noticed what Boy had achieved thus far. He introduced him to a local radio dj who had a dance show. From here on, Boy developed his sound more and more. Boy Hagemann met Robin “Jaydee” Albers on one of the parties that was held by the radio show. Robin Albers spotted the talent in Boy and offered him a record deal. Meanwhile Boy kept shaping his sounds to the limits. Not much later Robin asked him to remix his classic Plastic Dreams for Positiva.

The early releases on Jaydees First Impression were canned by Dj’s like Armin van Buuren in his early episodes of In State of Trance and compilations like Sensation and Massive. He also made a remix for Carl Cox’s 23rd Century.

Next to Robin Albers joined Johan Groenewegen of Cyber records for a new project. This project was to fuel the gigs of one of the kings of trance Dj Tiesto by making music for his compilations In Search of the Sunrise. Split Second was born with these three. This project was stunning with the knowledge of Johan Cyber.
New sources of music and spins of dj’s was motivating to start new creations from his mind. Whispering on Baroque made it to the playlist of Paul Oakenfold, Eddie Halliwell on BBC radio1 and Paul van Dyk. Music for the dance floor like Perspective gave his success a new dimension. Rex Mundi was back on the turntables by Dj’s of Carl Cox, Marco V, Nick Warren, Armin van Buuren and Markus Schulz.

His style of producing can be described as knowing the right vibe for the dance floor. With grumbling hover basses and technological twists, Boy manages to keep you moving like no other.
Boy is currently working on various remix projects and music for his aliases Rex Mundi and Dymos. You may want to keep an eye on Boy and his future dance floor productions!
