This Serenade was composed in the fall of 2023, while I was getting acquainted to the melodica and was learning to play it. My aim was to have a piece large enough with a piano accompaniment.

Sonate n°2 pour piano en do mineur

« Les petits poissons dans l'eau » est un ancien air composé par Jean-Baptiste Lully. J'en propose ici plusieurs variations, des plus simples aux plus abouties.

Pour le fun, chaque variation est nommée selon le nom d'un des personnages du Monde de Némo : Nemo, Gill, Dory, Peach, Marlin, Bloat, Squirt, Mr. Ray, et Pearl.

Variations sur l'air « les petits poissons dans l'eau »

Beat the Beast est une chanson rock (quelque part entre le pop-rock et le rock progressif). Elle raconte l’histoire d’un couple « un brin » dysfonctionnel, d’une amourette se transformant en quelque chose de plus brutal.

J’ai rarement besoin d’introduire mes musiques. Celle-ci fait exception : s’agissant d’une musique à programme, je me dois d’en présenter les grandes lignes pour que, à la fois l’auditeur, mais aussi l’interprète, puissent comprendre ce que j’ai voulu signifier et comment interpréter cette sonate.

Cette sonate pour piano a pour titre « Anthropo-scène ». Elle a pour ambition de décrire l’évolution de l’Homme depuis la nuit des temps jusqu’à nos jours.
