As a talented DJ, producer, music curator and promoter, he’s been crafting his skills since 2007 mainly in Jakarta, leaving a notable mark in the Southeast Asian scene༉‧₊˚.

He opens the dance and the opening duty of Søno.Cast.

An eclectic and innovative artist from Indonesia, he started his journey into the world of electronic music in 2008. Making his mark on the South East Asian scene.
His music finding influence in the rhythms of jazz, soul, and blues, as well as the atmospheric resonances of Sci-Fi soundtracks, Ecilo has spent years to refining his sound and honing his technique to become a producer who, while being strongly rooted in the foundations of techno, he is exceptionally genre-fluid.

With releases on noteworthy labels such as AXIS, ARTS, Planet Rhythm, Olympian, and more, Ecilo has strengthened his reputation as a producer and DJ with his percussive beats resonating around the world.

Jakarta-born DJ and producer Ecilo has spent over a decade carving out his place in the global techno continuum. Emerging in 2008, his sound draws from the pulse of jazz, soul, and blues; then thrusts it deep into the hypnotic realms of sci-fi soundtracks, dub atmospheres, and percussive density.

With releases on seminal imprints like AXIS, ARTS, Planet Rhythm, and Olympian, Ecilo has become a driving force in Southeast Asia’s techno movement. His debut album Uncovert, released on Jeff Mills’ Axis Records, was a landmark moment, fusing cosmic vision with raw industrial energy.

From residencies at Vault Bali and Kilo Lounge Jakarta to international appearances on stages like DOMMUNE Japan, Ecilo’s sets are heavy, heady, and deeply immersive. His sound is rooted in tradition, but fearless in its evolution; Detroit by spirit, Indonesia by soul.

Reza Putra Ananda has been reborn as Ecilo through his love for the industrial beats of Techno. His experience in the industry comes from years of refining his sound and honing his technique, with influences ranging from expressive African-American Music (Jazz, Soul, Blues) and the atmospheric resonances of Sci-Fi soundtracks. Always experimenting with different sounds has shaped Ecilo to become a producer who is genre-fluid yet strongly rooted in his foundations for proper Techno. Though slightly considered the underdog of genres in Indonesia, Ecilo’s consistency in providing solid proper Techno DJ sets and live performances has reinvigorated the genre and even inspired more and more passionate players into the field. With releases on international labels such as ARTS (Berlin), Planet Rhythm and more.
