Huffing sounds, lasted 3 1/2 minutes, but long periods of no sound were removed to shorten the clip. I can usually hear footsteps of deer, but heard none from this creature. Recorded at 3:02 am on 04/20/21 in Nebraska.

Recorded in Nebraska woods on 04/15/22 at 2:!3 am. It's difficult to sort out what is happening, but there are definite bipedal footsteps. It sounds like something with big flat feet running in the dark. I also think there is splashing sounds as if something was in the water. The recorder was about 100 feet from the Missouri River.

I don't know what made these grunts recorded in Nebraska near the Missouri River. This series of sounds occurred between 3:00 and 3:30 am on 06/24/22. The original clip was amplified by 20dB. The silent portions of this clips are where several minutes of no activity was clipped out.

7 knocks and a tree fall recorded between 06/22/22 and 06/27/22 in Nebraska. All were amplified by 15 dB. The sounds in order happened on 06/22 at 12:38, 1:49, & 2:05 am, on 06/25 at 12:04, 1:10, 1:27, & 2:!1 am, and on 06/27 at 3:43am.

unusual growls recorded on 06/22/22 at 4:06 am in Nebraska woods. This sound was not very close to the recorder so it was amplified by 30dB.  Cricket noises were also removed.

Knock occurs after a car drive by with loud stereo. This was in the woods on the Omaha Reservation (Nebraska) at 11:01 PM on October 9th, 2023. The knock at the end is amplified by 15 dB.

Recorded on 05/16/18 between 3:12 and 3:45 am, This is a series of distant calls and howls. The final howls started a very distant pack of coyotes. Once the coyotes started, this caller stopped making noises. This clip was amplified by 40 db and then low and high pass filtering was applied to reduce background noises.

Recorded in a private area West of town on Feb 08, 2019 at 8:51 pm. Could be a coyote but it's an odd sound and by itself. It sets off the local dogs.
