Bentley Bugz is a creative and forward-thinking artist from Canarsie, Brooklyn. His passion for rap began in the fifth grade, inspired by his older cousin and battle rap legends like Cassidy. He honed his lyrical skills through local battles, which fueled his ambition to pursue music as a serious career.

In 2010, Bentley Bugz began recording professionally, marking the start of his journey in the music industry. He released his debut track, “I’m Already Dead,” in 2011—an emotionally raw song accompanied by a gripping video and powerful lyrics. The track resonated with audiences, amassing nearly 100,000 views on YouTube and establishing his presence in the underground scene.

Motivated by the success of his debut, he followed up with another single in 2012, leading into the release of his first mixtape, “Hunting Season.” This project marked a pivotal moment in his career, showcasing his unique voice, lyrical ability, and artistic vision..

On October 21, 2020, Bentley Bugz was released from prison and made an impactful return to the music scene by dropping five music videos: “They Wanna Know,” “Ape Shyt,” “Big Moves,” “About That Time,” and “Super Gremlin.” Each release received strong positive feedback and helped reestablish his presence as a rising force in hip-hop.

Beyond his music career, Bentley Bugz remains deeply committed to giving back to his community. He has volunteered his time at Thanksgiving and Christmas Giveback events in Canarsie, demonstrating his dedication to uplifting others and making a meaningful impact.
