仮面をはずさないで (Mask On Mask)

 From the Album Arpa Celta by Urtext.This live recording was made  in just one take. I made the instrumental arrangement  or indications few minutes before playing and we all got inspired by the sound we were creating in that moment.There are three traditional celtic tunes happenning at once.The first one is a lullaby from Asturias Spain and says : En el cielo está la luna y el sol duerme al 
oeste ,ya el sol perdió altura, que su pueblo se acueste/The moon is in the sky and the sun sleeps in the west.The sun descends from the hights, may its people  go to sleep. The second tune is a bagpipe  Schottish tune named Chanter and the third is from Italy, played originally at the vielle.The musicians are :  George Lockwood aon Fiddle and mandolin, Fran Bringas playing Tabla, Michael from Venezuela on Sitar(I met him the day before in a concert we gave, and I never saw him again to ask him his last name...)Manuel Ugarte  on medieval flute and me( Cynthia Valenzuela)on Celtic Harp

Chicago legend Jamal Moss, also commonly known as Hieroglyphic Being, supplies a diverse collection of electronic excursions on his 'R-Spirits Will Not Be Broken' EP via Seth Troxler and The Martinez Brothers’ Tuskegee Music imprint, including the acid-tinged deep house cut 'Salvation Is The Cure'.

Having been strongly influenced by witnessing Ron Hardy play at the iconic Chicago venue Muzic Box, Jamal's been known to showcase a raw and unapologetic essence to his distinctly original material. His latest outing sees him break the mold of dance music once again, with four tracks that reveal his innovative approach to music production. 

The 'R-Spirits Will Not Be Broken' EP is set for release October 19.
